What's many people didn't exactly know is that Miko was the worst. People keep talking about Suisei had her hard times, yeah sure she did. But at least she still got 1k views on those times. Aki also still got 2-3k views. But did you know how many Miko got? She had barely less than 100 views on her stream. Her video uploads (which were main contents for Vtubers by that era, streaming wasn't the main thing yet back then) usually got around 3k at max, which was bad for a full fledged 3D Vtubers by that time. AyaMina duo even graduated due to keep getting them numbers. I never forgotten Miko's few first gaming streams where she literally got less than 50 live viewers. Chats barely popping up once every few minutes, I even remember counting it was around 15+ minutes gap between chats. My Japanese was still bad by that time and I was still shy too, I felt bad for not adding more chats. She has been funny and all ever since debut, but barely any people noticing her. Those sad days when barely a mere laughing chat coming up, if you compare to how she is right now you won't believe she had these back then. I wish someone cover up Miko's story, but it's hard to get her past archives as they're mostly deleted. Miko's story is just a whole amazing one, from someone who was not on the verge of failing but was already failing and just waiting for her to raise the white flag, into someone who literally getting 35k views casually even if it's a mere freetalk stream. On Miko's case it wasn't her who cried, it were us her OG fans who cried desperately hoping for her to not give up and wishing for her to get noticed by more people. Her story is such a journey.

Einnashu's clip really helped her a lot. i was very new on watching Hololive at that time but i remember Einnashu is also doing live translations for Aki-chan.. . and fun fact, it's not just Aki-chan that was saved by Kaigainikis. Towa-sama was also a receiver of the Kaigainiki help. after several incidents that happened to her that i vaguely remember now, Towa-sama lost the majority of her JP fanbase whilst the Kaigainiki viewers barely changed and just accepted what happened and moved on.she cried on stream apologizing until she notices that about 80-90% of the live chats were english that supported her and telling her to cheer up. she immediately wanted to try and communicate with the Kaigainikis which led to her cutely pronouncing english words and also led to her having several english learning streams and asking the Kaigainikis if they can help her learn thus leading to a wave of clips of her progress getting better and better at pronunciations ❤.

It was early on Towa's career. A male voice was apparently heard during her stream, which led to an assumption that Towa lived with a man. With a belief that a female idol should never interact with any male to keep their "purity," many were angered (kinda like Rushia situation). However, since such belief is not really widespread amongst overseas viewer, they don't care about it and keep watching her. Towa herself went to a hiatus for a couple of weeks and when she returned, apparently, she got more views from overseas than Japan. I think she is still one of JP members who got more overseas viewers compared to others.

Another very lucky Rosetai here, who was blessed by Einnashu and his tear-jerking clip. Over 2 and a half years later, and I'm still so grateful that I found that clip and my Oshi 🍎❤ So thank you too for putting another spotlight on our dearest Half-Elf! 🙏✨

Man, its such an amazing story how Aki rose over the years, she has pure talent both singing and dancing. She deserves all of her accomplishments since she's that wholesome Vtuber that will give her all to her fans and strive for more whatever the number of viewers and subs and that's the thing I liked her for.

You should made Towa story too. She also saved by overseas fans when male voice drama happened. She lost almost all her original japanese fans but then overseas fans flock into her stream to support her. Now she has one of highest percentage of English speaking fans in Hololive JP along with Aki
@irvancrocs1753 Жыл бұрын
This is when i appreciate more idol culture in overseas, like most HoloID fans for example don't give a single f to any their oshi's real life activities (Like having bf etc) as long it's not affecting their vtuber activities, and i can see the same with HoloEN fans as well.. Japan is way more sensitive about it to the point it's kinda worrying, i remember an idol back then had to shave her head bald and apologized publicly after she was revealed to have boyfriend, it's quite disturbing..

a lot of Western fans have this really demented savior complex. it makes the Hololive discussion boards on major sites unreadable

日本のファンの中にもそういうの気にしない人も多いけど、そういうの気にする人たちの声がでかいからね There are many japanese fans who don’t really care about those things including me, but those people who cares it have a load voice so they look like they are the majority aside the fact.

I remember leaving a comment on one of her streams and she gave it a heart reaction. I thought it was cool of her to be interacting with her fans like that. Then I went to the stream I had commented on and saw she had hearted almost every single comment. Now I know why. Such a touching story
@FreshPenguin918 Жыл бұрын
This is similar to kiara as originally I judged her based on the model and didn’t watch her streams cause of the time zone. After she moved home she streamed in the middle of the day so I caught them when bored at work. Her realness won me over pretty hard when she talked about herself and how she felt about being “the least successful” myth member. Idk how to articulate it, and while the wall between streamer and viewer should be firmly established, I think these two girls help show that it’s nice to see that they aren’t just characters but real people with insecurities like anybody else. Be kind to each other
@Mashamazzi Жыл бұрын
It was insane to hear her say that she was the least successful in a way that made her seem less important Shes very talented, speaks three languages and can even help English people and Japanese speak together as a translator, which clearly isn't as easy of a skill as I thought it would be (I can only remember her and I think Ollie being able to do it so well and they both speak three languages) Speaking of Ollie, it was a little sad to see that she didn't think she deserved her million milestone
@ninjablade2 Жыл бұрын
@@Mashamazzi Ollie has definitely got some imposter syndrome, but i think she's doing her best to get past it; When you see yourself passing other idols you looked up to i'm sure it's hard to not go "why am I getting all this love and not them?" "They clearly have more talent and appeal than I do" etc, etc Ollie has always been a fan first, so from that perspective I'm sure the mind goblins can cause a lot of problems for her mental and accepting she is and deserves to be one of the most popular members of hololive~
@SaveMeXenu Жыл бұрын
@@Mashamazzi Kiara's pity party actually turned me off of her because she was whining about her success when she was well over 700k, while people like Aki and Choco who were still below 500k. I liked Kiara a lot initially, but that whole phase made me think she was incredibly self-centered and now I can't stand her except for Holotalk.
@Fishman465 Жыл бұрын
@@SaveMeXenu Matter of time and perspective, as she shared a gen with Gura, but that being said she could have handled it better. But I feel Aki being on Holotalk was a good thing as if anyone could relate to what it feels like to be tail end of a very successful gen, it's Aki.
@SaveMeXenu Жыл бұрын
@@Fishman465 Being in a gen with Gura is not an excuse, doubly so given that none of the other members of EN were concerned about it either, at least from what I know. If I'm wrong, please do correct me, but I can't think of anybody else in HoloEN gen 1 complaining about being "unsuccessful" just because Gura was such an anomaly.

After a few years of bouncing around every 4 or so months watching a few new members at a time, I really don't know how anyone can have an oshi. They're all nice and good in their own way. Even making a tier list on would be difficult, just having three ranks of A, S, and S+.

I actually like that Aki had a consistent charming character throughout her whole career whereas a lot of Vtubers resort to acting crazier and crazier to get clicks, clips and go viral, not knocking on crazy Vtubers since Pekora is my top favorite but I love that Aki remained true to her character despite all of this. (well, relative to most big Vtubers, she's pretty sane and chill)

I stumbled upon Einnashu's video when YT suggested it to me after watching a video of a random jp vtuber girl crying because she had to quit. I watched that video, made me cry a little, I subbed to her, I started to watch her streams, and I've been a proud official Rosetai for 2yrs, 4mos and 22 days already. Her voice in her streams cured me so much after coming back from work, specially if you work in a loud hot place, like a kitchen. It's like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert. And her singing streams... oh boy, in the top 3 of Hololive, easily. And ofc... her hips. ❤❤🍎🍎
