Hi, Yes, it is possible to have an allergy to Venaseal or any other medicines used in the procedure, this is not very common. These are likely to be used for the first time in a patients life and the patient may be allergic to it. Close monitoring and counselling about allergy and what to do if you get a reaction is required.

Sir, venaseal procedure on my left leg is carried out on 7-12-22. My left foot get swelling even if I stand or seat for 5 minutes. Is this temporary issue or anything abnormal?

It is temporary as you have had the procedure only 2 days ago. You can elevate you leg by keeping 2 pillows under it and rest. Apply an ice pack if it hurts at any particular place.

@@gauranshkanwat143 the bleeding has stopped.venaseal requires multiple sittings nd itz very expensive-not covered by many government insurance policies.varicose veins don't disappear easily or go away.u need to wear stockings even after venaseal for 3 months. U need to lose weight nd have to do daily calf pumping exercises-I would say don't go for venaseal unless very necessary. Mine was only successful in closing bigger veins but the varicosities still remains.
