Antoine Cornic is the latest skipper to return to the Northern Hemisphere in the Vendée Globe, and he gives a tribute to Neptune.
Today Conrad Colman shows us how he puts a reef in his mainsail, Jingkun Xu tries to answer why he does races like this, and we hear from Benjamin Dutreux, who finished 10th but had to take shelter in La Rochelle, has made his way round to Les Sables d'Olonne.
We then look at the Tracker, Leaderboard and finish with an update from Oliver Heer.

I have been an Imoca fan since the 2020 Vendee Globe but had never followed Conrad before, he had crept under my radar. Then I came across his dock walk video and instantly realised that this guy makes very good, informative videos delivered with a smile, unlike anything else that comes from the rest of the best, Boris, Pip etc. The contet from the boats has been fantastic this edition. Thank you Mark and everyone else for allowing us to sail around the world in the comfort of our armchairs.

Conrad is a gifted unrehearsed communicator. I’m torn about his finishing this race and into silence on this channel. I stand by my previous comment: His talent as a big league sailing sports commentator would benefit and promote sailing worldwide.

The explanation of the reefing procedure was really interesting. It always was, and is, a lot of work 😅

If you can: Utmost appreciation for Conrad C.s well staged and communicated clips. Really good sense of humor and proper grain of modesty! Looking forward to his next introductional video. Here U just misd how the inside-the-boom-reef-rope is retained. Propably also vis a cleat operated via tiny ropelets via the "piano"? Keep all fingers crossed!

Interesting. Obviously cant go head to wind in those conditions and wondered how they reefed. Always had our ropes marked. Thanks Conrad.

That's an enormous and complicated effort to put in a reef! I am glad on my 34 ft cruiser I can reef in less than 60 seconds without leaving the cockpit.

Great video as usual, particularly enjoyed Conrad. When we get to the end it would be interesting to see the amount of wear and tear on the sails from the 90 days of continuous use. 💡

Another brilliant Conrad lesson. What precautions do you take to stop falling overboard, especially at night? Would scare the bejeebers out of me!
