This was my favorite of this game type, followed closely by X-men and a little behind that the ninja turtles. Vendetta always felt the most polished, the characters all play rather differently(I liked the green mohawk dude the best) and the weapons and enemies on the stages were fun and brought challenge. I haven't seen this game anywhere in YEARS.

Well, he's got those unpredictable slower chain-punches which can throw you up a wall and take half of the energy (during the first attack phase he's either unhittable OR absorbs a lot of damage, unsure) + the same, but a lot faster that can interrupt your combos, so I wouldn't say he's one of the easiest, quite the opposite, but I'm glad he's easy at least for somebody else : P

The Rude Brothers somehow remind me of those Blues Brothers-style twins from The Simpsons Arcade Game... and coincidentally or not, both duos have height difference (giant and midget), employ occasional team attacks and are boss 3 of their respective games... difference is, in the Simpsons game the taller one almost always collapses first.

+Fernando Sau Wouldn't say so. After the main "video games make kids violent" craze, Mike's agents made sure he wouldn't be associated with any games, from breaking the contract with Nintendo on US versions of Punch-Out games, to threatening Capcom over Mike Bison before SF2 hit the US market. So it's doubtful any company at the time would risk including a Tyson lookalike in their game.

Franko isn't obscure. It's supposed to be based on streets of Poland (80's/90's time), however thankfully it wasn't that bad. At least from what I remember. And it was also released on PC, no need to play Amiga version.

The only thing Hawk can't do very well: fighting bosses, because his special grab have no effect on them, unlike the other characters' special grabs. (though he's very good fighting Missing Link; try to kick Missing Link when Link is performing his jumping attack: Hawk's kick will bring him near and floored, open to receive ground attacks.)
