I have to admit, of all the Turkish series I have watched, Vendetta is by far the very best. The storyline is absolutely amazing. After watching Emanet, Esaret, Yémen and ending up quitting after a one or two seasons mostly due to the great imbalance between good and evil (evil predominating), sections of the storyline lasting too long with great suffering for the protagonists leaving the audience in a constant state of anxiety. Vendetta has a real balance with the good at the forefront. I love Dilan and Baran’s characters and many of the others as well. I have been particularly amazed by the last few episodes where Baran and Dilan finally are able to express their love for each other and Kudret finally being able to rise from his condition. Those scenes are excellent and made my heart soar. Now that is a series with watching. Thank you.

The way Baran Karabey loves his precious Dilan is the most beautiful thing in the series. I don’t agree with those who say season one was more beautiful than season 2. The script for s1 is more beautiful , emotions of DilBar were convincing. In s2 male director made them look like, especially Baran, insensitive and distant. Viewers blamed Baris' personal life, I think he wasn't getting along well with the director.

I love the way Kudret reinforces baran’s position. Love how he say this is your seat son, not mine nor anyone else (looking at the greedy slimy fox hassan), continue to sit there. His purpose as a loving father was not to come and demote his son, not to come overshadow him and take over with his ego by saying thank you for keeping the seat warm all these years but I’m here now son I’ll take over, you did a great job but let a true pro show you how it’s done. No he did not say or do any of that instead, he humbly sit next to his son, all he wanted to do was be there for his sons, to talk to them, share in their worries, sadness, happiness and love and if he have to just stand there and clap for them that’s enough for him because he have seen how much they have grown all these years and take on the mantle of the karabey family and they make him proud. What he and his wife instilled in them when they were little he saw it unfold before his very eyes all the time while in that chair. His sons are brave, courageous, merciful, forgiving, loving, kind, compassionate, leaders, doers, intelligent, fill with wisdom and surround themselves with wisdom filled people (dilan, kerem, Kader, Gul, Sena and her mom, Ahmet bey), they are humble (when they need to lol), they maybe be rich and come from a powerful tribe but at the same time they aren’t afraid to sit with the poor, shake hands with them and befriend them as a matter of fact they feel more at home in their presence. Kudret knows he and his wife give birth to wonderful sons so why wouldn’t he be proud to step a side and let them lead on. Baran have carried the tribe thus far and he managed to squash a feud that probably have been there for decades maybe even before he was born (because who knows who else hassan previously got them into heat with and create more enemies for the family). I so love the respect he give to his son and in a way it’s his way of showing approval for what Baran has already done and what he will continue to do. He’s saying you continue sitting there, I’m here now just to stand beside you, give you extra support and when and if you need me I’m not far but you’ve had this, you have got it and you will always. I’m just rewatching those episodes but this is what came to my mind when I see this scene of baran being a respect son and knowing that was never my place, it should have never been or it shouldn’t have been that early but due to circumstances I was thrown in this position and I always prayed you got better to take your rightful place, so here although I am the still the head of this tribe (even if by default Idk) but you are my elder and this is your seat. But his father is like no son you earn this seat. It’s not mine nor anyone else’s, Keep on sitting there. I’ll be cheering you on the side as I was doing all these years. Wooooooooohhhhhh!

In real time on the main channel Monday 6/10/2024 episode 335 the truth about Hasan is revealed at Ayten’s grave by Kudret- Baran and Dilan hear everything. 😢 Today Friday 6/14 episode 339- Hasan is captured at the Summer House so we shall see. I think Hasan continues into Season 3, we shall see. The ending of Season 2 on Friday 7/5/2024 was a shock-- waiting for September 2024. Not sure how it is going to start. Azade whole behaviour and mannerism has changed in response to her son Kudret’s recovery. She is actually quite lovely and excited and she knows the Turkish traditions for the wedding. She is in her glory. The writer has done a beautiful job here by showing the impact on the various characters and bringing the Karabey and Demir family together for the wedding.

Even Azade. The scene where Azade comes out to join the rest of the family to go ask for Dilan’s hand was really touching. How happy Baran was that his grandma decided to join them. Azade is actually very beautiful when she is not angry. Her face was all smile. This was one of the best scene of this episode for me. The Karabey family is healing and it is beautiful to see the transformation from the unhappiness of over 140 episodes turn into a joyful family (with the exception of Derya and Hasan of course).These two poison the atmosphere in this series.
