Is there any way to avoid heat seeking missiles and flares or rockets? I just started to play and it looks like rockets are op :/

They're OP until they run out of ammo, best solution if you're going to fight someone who's wielding rockets/missiles is to bring more rockets/missiles than them or have someone else there to pick at them from another angle. If you're very patient you can distance control and try to make the opponent waste them at range until they run out or try to close the distance and force a very close point blank dogfight. A valk fitted with a single sunflare is arguably the most powerful pvp ship in the game, there's no easy counter if the enemy pilot knows what they're doing. As far as the missiles are concerned they're extremely heavy so ships that use them are put at a huge maneuverability disadvantage so despite the fact that they feel extremely powerful when you're eating a bunch of them they're looked down upon by people who know how to maneuver against them.
