I'm wondering about one thing: I recently did the (paid) upgrade from AVENGER 1 to AVENGER 2. I also have the new Factory 2 sound bank. But I don't have a number "2" next to the word AVENGER (top right). Otherwise everything is the same with my AVENGER as in the tutorial here. Is this perhaps related to the upgrade, i.e. the fact that only a completely new installation of AVENGER 2 also has the "2" on the right...?

That is strange. Is the interface blue instead of orange colored? Or could it be that you have Avenger 1 still installed and running?

@@chimerastate 🍀Thanks for the feedback. My AVENGER 2 GUI/Interface (?) is grey and blue, everything is normal. Software version 2.0.0, x86_64, build: Nov 23, 2023. I still have version AVENGER 1 on the computer. Should I perhaps delete AVENGER 1 completely from the SSD?

It is an official vengeance sound expansion for Avenger 2.

I have vps avenger but they want me to buy vps 2? why not an update to 2?

It took over 4 years to develop the brand new version. So they put a lot affort in Avenger 2. The upgrade comes also with 250 free presets and over 1500 new drum loops that alone would cost usually the price of the upgrade if you would have to purchase 2 sound expansions.

@chimerastate Well I have Native instruments also and keep getting updated and love it, but vps avenger has had few updates , therefore is going to have less of my business.

@@dannyrodriguez4162 NI uses a completely different business model. It has many 3rd party developers who host their own instruments and effects on the platform, and for all sales they make a commission. Vengeance Sound is a solo company making money off their own presets and plugins, so they can't afford to give free updates indefinitely. I bought the upgrade and it's well worth it with the additional features alone.
