Is Venice a top 25 Downtown Florida destination? We are searching for the most vibrant and diverse downtowns in Florida. What do you think of Historic Downtown Venice?

Vibrant is certainly NOT an adjective one would use in a sentence containing the words Venice Florida. The place is death's waiting room.

@@jayj3990 Venice is very safe. I never locked my front door while living there. It not a "happening place" it's a place for snow birds.

Thank you, you did a really good job showing Venice. I have never been and I now want to go. I saw someone below saying that the town has been redone 6 month ago. Could you make an other video to show the world how it is now. That would be lovely.

The Island of Venice has all that.50-100% more expensive for a residence than Venice off the Island(or even the other side of 41 on the island) but no land really left to build so it won't get as congested with traffic.The South Jetty is a treasure.Good luck!

One of my old stomping grounds. It's picked up a lot in the past 20 years. At one time. Starbucks decided now to build there because they said you could launch a cannon ball down Venice ave after 8pm at night and not hit a thing. Never cared for Starbucks anyway. But there's always something ya can find to do there or close by.

I used to live in Venice to be near my elderly parents who had a house at The Plantation. Anyone in their 40s was considered "young."

Cool video! What’s Venice’s average demographics by age?
@mertr85093 жыл бұрын
First of all. It’s a beautiful city. Why 50000 trips up and down Venice ave? I lived there for 28 years. Old saying. All the old folks live in Sarasota and their grandparents live in Venice! Job selection is poor unless in medical or service industry. And even at that most work in Sarasota. The south jetties is my favorite place on earth. Beautiful! I moved there in the 80’s, it was so much nicer then a. Hidden treasure. The 90s is when it started downhill. So many old folks from am over that think you owe them the world because they are there. Can’t go to the store without seeing numerous wrecks even in store parking lots. It’s a shame. Use to be a great place. I left in 2006
