I did it and I was stunned. I’m Italian, and in Venice the ‘secondary’ are not even called ‘canal’. Actually there are only 3 canals in Venice. And it’s beautiful because it seems that it’s trying to beat the horde of people who desires the city, with a trick like a time-travel on a little boat (gondola was too expensive lol). And the golden hour feels like a golden world on golden water.

I really enjoyed your video. In 2014 my wife wanted me to be a travel companion for our college aged daughter who wanted to travel Euope for about two and a half weeks instead of her traveling there by herself. Previously I had no interest traveling to Europe and had the greatest time ever, although I did see lots of art but shared my daughter's interest in history. We spent three full days in Venice on that trip together. Thanks for placing on KZbin. From St. Louis
@ProWalks3 жыл бұрын
Hey Larry, glad you enjoyed it. Were you able to take a similar canal tour while you were in Venice?
@larryloveless29673 жыл бұрын
@@ProWalks Yes, we did also do a canal tour. At the beginning of the video when you go past the Venice train station a short distance you pointed the camera over to the left for a while and that was where our hotel was located right along the canal. One day when my daughter just wanted to rest for a while I walked to the nearby train station and took some pitcures of the trains going in and out as I am a bit of a rail fan and really liked seeing Europe's high speed rail. Most of our trip was with a Trafalar tour called Contrasts of Europe but we also did some extras on our own. This Trafagar tour mostly used rail per my request with my daughter. Your video is really relaxing to watch and I like re-living moments like it in your video.
