It has been my pleasure to visit Venice twice. Just a breathtaking experience. It's like stepping back in time. So glad you included Caffe Florian. The music lends a romance to the nighttime experience. My friend and I had coffee there In 2004. The bill was $29 as there is a charge for the music. Oh well. It's only money and we only live once. Have fun.

Hi thanks so much for these 2 evening walks. It shows how pleasant Venice is in the evening - there are less people and walking is so much more relaxing. I'm looking forward to visiting again - this is really helping me navigate - as we are staying just o9ff C Sant Angelo. FYI - the MOSE on 22nd Nov 2022 saved Venice from the highest tide ever - measured 2.04m in the lagoon - higher than 1966. Also 23rd, 24th and 25th had high tides where they used MOSE.

I saw another video with another fellow with the same as mine asking if there are any freeways in the country?? Are there any 18 wheelers over there?? I'm from California and there are big Freeways in the state. It looks like I can walk or ride a bike from one major city to another without having to get behind the wheel.
@ProWalks Жыл бұрын
Well..there are toll roads. No Freeways. And there are large semi-trucks, some as big as 18 wheelers, but most are a bit smaller. The main highways are all big but the roads through most towns are pretty small. Check out Google Earth and you can see it all pretty well.

which camera did you use in this video..? and does KZbin Monetize these videos..? Admin Please tell me about it.... Please
@ProWalks Жыл бұрын
Hi, I am using a Sony A7SIII for these 2022 videos but before that I was using a Gopro. KZbin will monetize any channel after it reaches 1000 subscribers and has 4,000 hours of watch time in a year. There is definitely more room on KZbin for another channel. Give it a shot! :)
@calmvenue646 Жыл бұрын
@@ProWalks You mean, KZbin does Monetize Walking Tour Videos..? Thank You So Much, I want to make videos for KZbin like you.. But I have a GoPro Hero 11... How is it..? Your Videos are very very beautiful, that's why I asked you about your camera...
@ProWalks Жыл бұрын
Yes, anyone with over 1000 subs can get paid but the most important factors are watch time and if people complete your video and return to watch more of your videos. A Gopro 11 is perfect for day walks! I mainly switched to a Sony for better quality with night videos.

@@ProWalks I don't doubt it's beautiful but overtourism has caused many problems for Venice. One is locals can't get accommodation with so many properties rented out as Air bnbs. The city just seems like a tourist trap Disneyland with little authentic culture. Never been there but am just put off by all I've read about Venice. Amsterdam has a similar problem. These cities would have been great 30 or 40 years ago, now they're all Starbucks and English language signs. Anyway appreciate your filming and giving a flavour of Venice!
