Allowing people to lay in the street on filthy mattresses with drug needles sticking out of them seems neither loving nor compassionate.A civilized society has to set some boundaries and standards or else things could decent into a world that would be a horrible hellish distopia. Streets impassible because of mounds and mounds of garbage and needles strewn everywhere does not sound very loving or compassionate.These clean up workers are heros on their own right . @@GDG123ful Out of sight. out of mind..Time for the powers that be to come and observe and watch for a week, not to escape to their safe homes, but to actually see what is going on and spreading, because they don;t do what they are paid to do...Plus they have given very little authority to the Police that is paid to keep order, that entalis living on the streets....Time to consider , with Government money to do some intellcetualizing studies...Set precident, for all States......No one has yet to address the immigrant society, that comes daily...If somwthing isn't done legally, they'r will be not just drugs, but killings on the streets...jus saying..and believing..

Officials in the mental health field want these people to choose sobriety and rehab of their own free will, so addicts get free clean needles, free clothes etc etc, in Hope's this will courage then to do so, but what officials dont get is, these new drugs like fentanyl, are so very strong that, addicts can no longer think rationally, everything is about thier next fix and nothing else, ethics sobriety cleanliness morality, all out the window, so clearly they need forced psychatric hospital treatment, but still authorities won't go down that path, they call it unethical to lock someone up against thier own will, but like I said, the addicts have no ethics or morality and only care about the drugs, and no matter what they are given it will not stop them from using, only locking them up will stop them, so what more unethical letting them do what they want until they die or locking them up, to keep them alive...

A lot of older LA/SoCa & urban American streets are weak enough even without homeless tents, reams of trash & bad smells. But combine that with vacant, rundown or cheap-looking properties, lifeless sidewalks & utility wires strung along poles & that's a recipe for funkytown.

So sad😭 Throwing away someone's tent is mean. When the person comes back their only home will be gone⛺😞. That mattress was most likely the few comfortable things the owner had🥺 Soon, it will be raining and many of these poor homeless people will be stuck with no tent for shelter🤦🏼

You're more than welcome to let them sleep on your couch if it bothers you that much, bleeding heart. Most of these people refuse housing and want to live on the sidewalk, which is not permitted.
