I appreciate that Angelina pays homage to Elvis with her leather outfit and red guitar and to Priscilla with the beehive hairdo. Angelina also treats the song with the solemn and plaintive tone to match the dark theme of jealousy which often ends up in pain and tragedy. She pleads with the jealous person in a vulnerable but powerful way in order to save the relationship. The little children are often innocent victims of jealousy. Angelina's music always serves to communicate the feeling and story of the song she is singing.

As she walks in she uncovers more old dusty classics and shows us just how she can make those classics her own. I read in the comments that this tribute was complete from the black leather jumpsuit that Elvis wore in his comeback concert and the red guitar he used, to the hairstyle reminding us of his wife Priscilla from the early years, and of course there is 2 time Grammy winner and Republic Records Studio Director, Rob Christie on the piano again for her. This young lady and those she works with are masters at what they do. And I'm sure you noticed that she was still paying tribute to a blue eyed Persian girl she met weighing people on the street 10 years ago. Including her two little cousins and her sister in the video was just showing how important family is. She truly is a treasure, and this interpretation was solid gold, and STILL only 16 years old.

Angelinas message to us to strive for a community where everyone trusts each other. I love what she did here. I'm thinking of the countryside in Norway, where you'll find small (unmanned!) shacks with potatoes, carrots, eggs and such from the farm. You just take whatever you need, and pay either by leaving your cash or paying with your phone. Often there will be change to break bit notes there as well! I think it is absolutely beautiful. In contrast, some places when authorities say "Have your vaccines, here, for free, please" respond with accusations of nano robots and nonsense like that.

I think the symbolic of her removing the sheets off the ' old ' and of the young children looking around in wonderment ( and the last part of Juliette sitting down with a happy smile ) is to let the world know that ( at least she's trying to say that ) there are still some young generation who still love, or can love all those artists who have came before, in that all we have to do is give them ' light ' ( aka removing the sheets ) of listening and singing the ' oldies '...It's her ( and her grandma's way ) of conveying that to the world, of paying homage, And what better way than to do it thru, perhaps the greatest singer of all time, Elvis imo....Great reaction my friend..

Grandma never misses a chance to film her grandchildren and Mery produced this that’s Angelina’s 2 cousins and little sister Juliette supposed to depict Angelina journey growing up notice that in her young performances she always wore white, also note she wore her hair up like Priscilla Presley , leather and red guitar like Elvis. The 2 younger girls are her Uncle Mike's kids, and, of course, 2 time Grammy winner Rob Christie on piano. What a great cover! The beehive hairstyle was to honor Priscilla Presley and the time period she met Elvis. I was not expecting this! Funny thing is, this was almost 4 minutes, but it flew by and felt short! Nice to see you I hope you "Senior Year" went well? Have you chosen a university? Well a very clever review, like Angelina, you are growing up, and perfecting your craft, before our eyes. For sure the video was of course inspired by her grandmother Mary who produced it (as always). All her videos follow a specific theme of old to new, and this was no exception. I like that Mary has always had a game plan for her granddaughter, which we all have been fortunate to see from the beginning (thank GOD for the internet). Her opening of the song doesn't mess around... she takes us immediately into her world. We are trapped until he song over. This is what makes her a super star. I saw a video on you tube last night of her doing a music video from her concert setting in Norway. She's remaking her cover of "I have nothing" from Whitney. I thought the inclusion of the young girls fit th2e song very well. They added to the emotional weight of the story of a partner struggling with a stay or leave decision. I have never been a great fan of Elvis Presley, although I do like some of his earlier recordings, and I had never heard of the song "Suspicious minds" but knew that Angelina would completely take ownership of it, and she did. It was beautiful. After listening to it several times, I decided to download the lyrics to see whether she kept to the original structure. She didn't and the song is all the better for it. I have a different take on the (non-Elvis) symbolism. Angelina's public career has been on hold for 3 years, and as she prepared to leave for Norway for 4 concerts she is telling her Angels that she's back. She starts by pulling the dust covers off her career. Then with the cameos by her cousins and sister she reflects back on her younger days, leading to the introspective shot of Angelina. This video was released just a few days before her appearance at Allsang på Grensen and was intended to get us ready for her return to public life. It worked. Thanks for the fun reaction.

Venice. Before you speculate too much. Angelinas grandmother, Mary Zemani, is the executive producer of the video. She is an artist and Angelinas big inspiration and mentor. She introduced her to the music, she makes her dresses and she is behind the decorstion. She us probably more responsible for Angelinas image than Angelina herself.

Cinematically, I feel your first theory about children in an antique shop missed the similarity of dress among the girls, the progression from younger to older, and the transition from the older cousin to sister Juliette while they spun slowly. I would agree with other reviewers that the symbolism is more about growing up. Angelina slows down the tempo of songs so we can hear and she can express the lyrics anew. Many of your comments make me feel you are not listening to the words of Mark James, who seems to be in despair over his love’s misplaced suspicions.

This lady is very talented. I am an old Elvis fan who lived thru his life and early death. I saw his name used and abused. They called him a racist and a pirate of black music which is untrue. When he died his inner circle all wrote tell all books making millions off his name. Old Fat guys in Vegas and beyond so called "Tribute Artist "make their living off of the Elvis name and image. This lady used the name of Elvis to further her career and become an internet success. It is time for her to stop profiting off Elvis and create her own style. Thanks
