IT'S NOT. The dumb ass ASMR acronym didn't even come along until slightly before all you trend followers destroyed the community and filled it with a bunch of garbage me toos and people who don't know what the fuck it is, or what they are doing. Notice how she doesn't say ASMR once, and she says "prolific whisperers". It's because people who actually were aware of "ASMR" would just search for random keywords of things that triggered them. I'm talking around 2008. This is well after then of course, but it still hadn't been ruined at this time. Notice how all the originals are all gone now, because it was the furthest thing from a trendy scene, all of you who "stumbled accross, or didn't know they had it, or discovered it", probably don't actually have it. And if you did have it and were unaware of it, I'm sorry, you are all complete idiots to not have the ability to recognize physical feelings that you have had all your life.

This is the first ASMR video I ever watched. In February 2013 I was looking for microphone and audio equipment reviews. I stumbled on this and thought it was the weirdest thing ever, but I couldn't stop watching. ASMR videos have been helping me get to sleep almost every night since. I don't know if you read your comments anymore, but I just wanted to say thank you.

Turning on the sensitivity and forgetting that you're supposed to do sound post-production rather than use the raw mic feed full of background noise and unwanted artifacts, few ASMRtists actually do this correctly.

There should be an annual ASMR Convention, maybe in Las Vegas, once a year, where you and the other AMSR artists can gather together with your public. Then I can get a real close up, live look at those unbelievably gorgeous dark eyes of yours. But, wishful thinking aside, the mic is great when using a good pair of headphones.
