I am Hariharan from Bengaluru, my mother is great grand daughter of Erode's Ambi Iyer's hotel during 1935 to 1960. When I showed this makhmal puri video, she said that during those days they used to crumble laddu, jangiri, mysore pak as stuffing and puri with wheat flour, she said that each used to cost half anna. Thanks for the recipe that was very nostalgic🙏

ஆஹா, மக்மல் பூரி என்னுடைய பேவரிட் ஸ்வீட் . ஆனால் இதுக்கு ஸ்டபிங் சோமாஸூக்கு வைக்கும் பொறிகடலை தூள் தேங்காய் துருவல் பூரணம் தான் . முதன் முதலில்1980 சமயத்தில் என் தந்தையின் பண நிமித்தம் அருப்புக்கோட்டையில் இருந்த போது அங்குள்ள டீ கடைகளில் வாங்கி சாப்பிடுவோம் . அது முதல் எங்கள் குடும்பத்தின் பேவரிட் ஸ்வீட் ஆகிப் போனது. அடிக்கடி வீட்டில் செய்வேன் . சுகர் வந்தப்பின் எல்லாம் கனவாகிப் போனது. இன்று நீங்கள் செயது காட்டும் போது சாப்பிட்ட மாதிரி ஒரு உணர்வு . இது போன்ற புழக்கத்தில் இல்லாத ஸ்வீட்டுகளை இந்த ஜெனரேஷனுக்கும் அறிமுகம் செய்யுங்கள் .உங்களின் வாயிலாக மீண்டும் பரவட்டும் . நன்றி 😋😋👌👌

OMG.. i have been searching this recipe for many years now.. my mother in law says it's her fav sweet and her father used to get it for them in Neyveli.. but she forgot how it tasted or looked.. but she used to say it's was her childhood favourite and wanted to taste it again.. I couldn't find it in any sweet shops now.. Hello sir, இது என்னுடைய‌ அம்மாவின் signature dish.but அம்மா stuffing இல்லாமலும், சர்க்கரை பூரி மீது பூத்திருக்கும் படியும் (dry ஆகவும்,பிசுபிசுப்பு தன்மை இல்லாமலும் இருக்கும்).என் பள்ளி வயதில் அடிக்கடி‌ சாப்பிட்டது.இதனை செய்தாலே என் அம்மா ஞாபகம் (அம்மாஉயிருடன் இல்லை)வரும் என்பதாலேயே திருமணமான 14 வருடத்தில் 1 முறை தான் செய்திருக்கிறேன்.but என் பிள்ளைகள், கணவர், மாமியார் குடும்பத்தினர்அனைவருக்கும் மிகவும் பிடித்துவிட்டது.அதன்பிறகு செய்யவே இல்லை.நீங்கள் மீண்டும் என் அம்மாவின் நினைவுகளையும் இந்த இனிப்பை சாப்பிட்ட என்‌பள்ளி பருவத்திற்க்கும் என்னை அழைத்து சென்று விட்டீர்கள்🙏🙏
