Harriet - I agree with you 100%! People have to get over this idea that everyone in music needs to look like a Hollywood star (and that's a much larger problem here in the USA than most other places).There was a time not so long ago when music was all about songwriting and musical ability. MTV and music videos ruined that forever. Now it's more about the visual package than the music - and that's sad. Kurt Nilsen is a very talented guy - who cares about what he looks like - his voice is amazing!

robert london yeah. he crushed it when he was on World Idol. Beat out Kelly Clarkson in that competition. He sang just about every song better than the original. The first song i heard was his cover of the U2 song...blown away when he started because i was expecting such a huge tone. It was a lot like when Susan Boyle auditioned for XFactor. Just remembered the song was "beautiful day.

Depends on what you want to experience! Norway can be beautiful any time of year - take care in picking where you go though. Typically the west-coast (Fjords) and North can be pretty spectacular. If you go to the North, you may want to do it in winter as the northern lights are better then (but it is COLD). If you want to get off the mainland, Svalbard is cool - with wildlife like polar bears. (you don't find any of those on the mainland)
