Randomizing the stats is an absolute new idea that hasn't ever been seen before, I like it, the fact that a Diplodocus was doing bleed damage was pretty insane, you and Rassclark really know how to make this series even better and better throughout each and every episode of Dingle Cup. I thought the same. Although it would probably be pretty easy if you can take dinos with Titanosaur, Giga, Carcha, Mosa, etc. stats into a bossfight. On the other hand, getting artifacts and tributes could be a challenge 😅

This was quite an interesting episode, especially with that bleeding Diplodocus. I was really happy with the ending cause not only does the season keep going, but I got to see two Rexes fighting. It's always a great time for me seeing my dino the Rex in a fight. Anyways, more Dingle Cup next week! Woohoo!

Great episode :D This one actually gave me an idea, if it works with setting up the mod: Basically I'm thinking of having a spinwheel and you taking turns spinning one wheel (so you can't both get the same creature), and using the mod again to randomize all dino's stats. When you get a creature from the wheel, you're given a screenshot of the stats it now has (spawned in at a fixed level) and have to guess what dino they're inherited from. This could for example be done "1 truth, 2 lies"-style with the opponent giving you 3 possible answers to choose from, and a reward/punishment for guessing correct or not, like taming above 100/below 50 or smth. And I think it would be funny if the wheel only had all the shoulder pets/small dinos! :) This could also even the playing field by mostly removing size/knockback advantages, and make it easier to set up if you need a 3rd party to prepare smth for you in advance

It's in the mod we used for the randomized creatures. I had to change the attack damage type for it to work, so it got the creatures attack that it swapped with. Will have to look at the mod in the devkit to see what it was

How about changing the rules of dingle cup a bit, to bring back Gigas/Carcha/Titanosaur? Every dino is only allowed to fight one round and you win by points? 6 rounds fighting, if its 3:3 then there is round 7, where all remaining dinos fight against each other. This way the Giga/Carcha/ Titanosaur arent winning the whole battle only their fight. Also a good idea for this format would be that everyone of you picks two teammates. Everyone spins for themselves. 3 fights per round, 6 rounds in total, optional 7 round. The wheel decides who fights who in each round. You can only get a point for each round if you can secure 2 victorys in each round. Just imagine spinning a Giga but your mates are getting dodos and then you loose the round, brilliant😂You could still use the Giga in round 7 if it comes to it. I and probably everyone else would love to see this challenge happening😛

Can you mix this mod with Ark Omega? Since everything is a knockout tame there, the food thing shouldn't be a problem. And with Omega's abilities, even dodo would be able to not care about the knockback.

It probably wont mix as omega will reference the base creatures, it will probably cause a bit of lag lol we found having the random dodo egg mod and the mod with the randomised trying to spawn in dodos was causing some mad lag

Wait are species swapped or creatures swapped? So if say one direwolf has stats of a Dodo, do all direwolfs have dodo stats? And if it's a species swap does that mean all the species are used or can species sometimes be used double, meaning other species are left out?

They way i set it up is that if direwolfs got dodo stats all direwolfs will now have dodo stats, and for randomising I set it so that weak dino stats can only show up once, while the stronger/mid field dinos can show up twice

I can see that, but normally we tame the first we see, so thought using a wheel decided the lowest level that you can tame would allow for better creatures. Maybe in future we just give a time limit for each round and you can just tame the best one you see

I have to agree. Between taming 10 creatures, spinning for minimum level, then testing damage and spinning for traits it was a bit much. Could have cut out some of the damage testing and traits. I ended up skipping like 30 mins of the video because of this. Also veno 100% whistled at least one extra time with the Kong/rex fight

I love the concepts of the videos. It gets rough to watch though when you guys try and figure it out as you play. Its like teaching someone how to play a card game the first time and you have to make exceptions. Just take an hour or so to do a test run with each other to work out the kinks before you start recording. Half the videos you guys make where you don't understand the rules fully I end up stop watching because it becomes unbearable to watch sometimes. Just do a test run.. lol
