Kinda. Here we get this message when Cassidy bites Eddie. Him tasting Eddie’s blood (if that’s how Carnage is born) is the closest we’ll get to the blood bond from the comics which is heavily related to the offspring stuff. Hence why when Carnage gets shot he both absorbs and opens to avoid the bullets without us seeing Cassidy, because he’s bonded on such a strong level he essentially actually becomes one with then symbiote. I don’t think the hunger bit is related to Carnage in any way, Carnage is red because of the blood bond he forms with Cassidy. I think they’re doing this hunger thing because of Venom’s criticism that he is too kind and good. They want to remind or introduce his darker predatory characteristics now

Okay that intro was fire also I think the lady who keeps screaming is Donna Diego Prime AKA Scream the yellow symbiote. I remember in think the cartoons from the 90s as well stated that Carnage is Venom son as well as the comics.

i think it still could be Venom's son. In the comics the two shared a jail cell and when the Venom Symbiote came to break out Brock it left it's spawn in the cell which found Cletus. Same scenario but instead it left it's spawn in Cletus mouth. Make of that what you will. But notice how Cletus tells Eddie "you feel like family". I think it will be revealed that familial connection is thru the symbiotes.

Holy crap the instantaneous transformation for Kletus Kassidy becoming Carnage is awesome. They really leveled up the special effects. Also we are getting another villain with Naomie Harris' character. Kletus has been doing research on Brock for quite sometime and put the pieces together with Eddie Brock being Venom and wanted that power. When he bit Eddie's hand I was like holy crap. The Carnage taking form on Kletus is based on his personality and the red of course symbolizing blood.
