4060m is definitely QHD capable at least in AAA games where you want the best possible visual quality. You get around 40-50 frames in most heavy games at 1440p, and you can also use Frame gen. IMO best value 4000 series laptop card (completely opposite in PC market though lol 4060 sucks).

I just bought the new 2024 predator helios neo 16 i7 14gen with 4060 and i don't know how i was getting 26789 cenibech r23 score, i think because the room temperature was 21.C😅😅😅😅😅😅here the difference in this i7 and predator i7 is high.😅 EDIT:I bought this offline at the acer store in jaipur... Also, at first i wanted the legion 5i pro but it has ryzen 7 7745hx (8 core) with 4060 but i only raised the budget just for cool looks and rgb of new predator 😅 Also there is less difference between legion 5i pro and this lap. The experience was really good 👍 👌, the main problem is that this laptop has very loud fans at max rpm.... Also this is the best laptop around budget of 1.5 lacks, since you get the trust of acer and its good quality 👌.

So I compared both the videos , same spec omen and loq. I am not trying to defend or promote anything , just putting forward my observations. From the beginning itself omen has limited the cpu wattage helping it have an overall cool temps. The cpu hardly went above 90w in omen even in demanding places while. What i conclude is , the cooling system is on par / better in the loq than the omen

Same laptop but by disabling VBS and undervolting through HP omen gaming hub I was able to push the time spy score to 11960 on my omen. I think people don't understand the RTX 4060 is a 1080p card even if its able to play some at 1600p the vram will get overwhelmed and start throttling. The HP is better than Acer in this regard because its sharper in 1080p.

Maybe you are using it on Eco mode which won't push for full power, usually online advertisement main settings tweak karke testing karte hai, toh usme performance mode with full fans, on charger woh sab * (conditions) main mentioned hota hai ki kaise achieve Kiya woh numbers

I have the same problem so if it's getting too hot while doing heavy tasks just undervolt it. Undervolt it to 1.25mv because that's a safe value and see if that fixes the issue

HP omen ka subreddit dekh le acer predator Helios se zyada followers hai just alone OMEN ke victus ko to count bhi nhi kr rha. The Omen is much more popular outside of India. I have the RTX 4060 version of the HP omen and I'm consistently getting better performance in 3d time spy (11960) and cinabench 31k by disabling VBS and undervolting through HP omen. The bios is better than the piece of sh** LOQ with its terrible build quality. Alienware ki baat kr rha aaj tak use bhi kya hai? it has the worst thermals in any laptop. The 1600p resolution for the RTX 4060 is terrible as well I have a PC with the 4070ti super and that had problems running Alan wake 2 at ultra settings ye run krega? but I'm glad you're making a jump I hope that laptop suits you better, as someone who does not want to carry around a 3kg laptop and has a PC at home that just wasn't an option for me and 1600p resolution is too much for the little RTX 4060. I got this laptop for 1 lakh 20k with discounts so I'd say I got an amazing deal and haven't had any thermal issues either. Even with extreme worldload they study under 75°c you just need to learn your machine better or the product you received is faulty

I develop AI and do workload tasks such as mining and this demolishes the acer predator with its higher tier ram and screen resolution which is better suited for the RTX 4060. i don't think you have ever used the laptop or maybe you don't have one because this laptop has no such problem unless you got it second hand from some place. My omen stays under 75°c while intensive workload tasks and has faster ram 4200mhz in acer and 5600mhz in omen. The acer CPU is badly optimised with its components the wattage jumps up to 100°c causing it to thermal throttle. I have a PC at my home with the RTX 4070 super and I have no need to carry around an ugly 3kg laptop with me everywhere

Lenovo uses smart overclocking to attain the result by pushing the voltage. I have the same laptop by manually overclocking it I was able to push the result to 31k but after that the system became unstable so by putting in a value by which the system won't become unstable i was able to achieve a score of 29k. I imagine omen will release a bios which unlocks this CPU
