There are different traditions in Buddhism, different kinds and forms of Buddhism in this world. We have meditation, being mindful, stress reduction meditation. All this type of activities are related to Buddhist traditions as I understand. But what is really the essence of Buddhism? So what were the teachings or the original teachings of the Buddha that makes him one of the greatest sages in the world in history?
