very good information, just had a vent hood installed zline with 1200cfm and was wondering if it was installed correctly because the sound was so quiet. Hearing how quiet the ventahood was made me feel a lot better.

I did not have the same experience. My Zline at 650 is 68 DB at the quietest setting. Totally false advertising by zline. Returning asap.

Can confirm the low sound level of the vent a hood. However the suction is nowhere near of what is expected. It's all marketing gimmick. That is why you don't see any test videos where they test the suction of the vent a hood with other brands. Searing a steak will only partially clear the room from smoke. The oil drip tray is also a joke. Nothing catches inside the tray, it leaks onto your cooktop.
