Interested to hear what your air quality device says about this, it's pretty darn expensive compared to other humidifiers, would like to know if this item is actually worth the extra price. In the meantime, evaporative humidifier helps avoid the white junk

I've been seriously considering buying one of these units, but the biggest con for me is that the manufacturer recommends that I resign myself to breathing in their chemicals in order to use their humidifier. How healthy can that be?
