the icing on the cake is her ability to laugh at her own jokes, it looks so natural, she almost look surprised at her own answers. it really sells the ventriloquist bit and makes the jokes even funnier!
@TheOneSoulMate_ Жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. It helps sell the idea that it’s not her and she is just part of the audience. Extremely funny.
@bensweet968510 ай бұрын
I feel her laughter is real, she having just as much fun as the audience.
@jatticusfinch901510 ай бұрын
I watch her assuming her id is the puppet and she really is surprised because whatever voice comes to the surface is usually subcon. I know it’s a finely crafted skill, and therefore super conscious, if maybe a little automatic, but wow. The illusion is stunning.
@chr15s.915 ай бұрын
Because while she may have prepared a bit, she still has freestyle alot of the dialogue based on the persons mannerisms to fit in, so its new material to her aswell, plus their reactions are priceless.

It's almost like there're 2 people inside her, and one really has no idea what other is about to say, brilliant. She should be on main stream tv far more often.

Two? I take it you are not yet a connoisseur of Nina's work... Watching her with four of five people on stage with multiple conversations bouncing around, plus her own dialogue, and then often as not a bloody monkey on top makes you wonder if she is not actually some kind of deity.

The ventriloquism is brilliant, but her ability to turn an introvert into an extrovert is incredible.

As an introvert, this is probably the most intense thing that's ever happened to him. He probably experienced a high that no drug could ever bring. Well done, Nina.
@kennethdemarest28783 жыл бұрын
She's fantastic, no doubt. But I do think that the "dummy" was a plant. His eyes and body movement were just too perfect for the dialogue. I think most people would be too horrified up there to look right, even with the mouth moving. But that doesn't take anything away from her act. She is brilliant.

@@kennethdemarest2878 i'm an introvert and have to agree with others here that i'd have reacted exactly the same way. i don't think he's a plant. i also don't think he became an "extrovert" at the end. she eased him into it by asking him to wave one hand, then two and by then he felt comfortable enough, after all that encouragement. you can tell she had practiced this with other introverts and worked out that this is a good way to get them moving. after he stopped dancing though, you see him instantly became uncomfortable again
