I have Venus is Aquarius and i feel like I am always attracted to the people that have sort of a "genius" quality about them, I could never date someone who didn't have a huge amount of knowledge about the world. A lot of the time the people I fall in love with feel isolated from the rest of the world, and for some reason that really draws me towards them. I have Pisces sun and cancer moon so I really don't think I am a cold lover, but I defiantly need my space to grow and be able to have my own thoughts and opinions, and I would want them to have their own too.

I am right there with you! My Cancer Rising and Scorpio Moon make me a much more emotional Aquarian despite having a Stellium. Aquarians with a lot of water in their charts aren't detached like the stereotypes proclaim. I always use this as an example why it is so important to know your entire chart and not just a sun sign.

venus in aquarius is weird (anything in aquarius is just weird, let's be real haha). but when i truly notice my venus is when i'm with people who like me. i often notice people flirting and things like that, but my venus will immediately tell me "look away, play hard to get, act too cool for them". somehow i think acting distant will attract people. i'm really not sure why! it's just natural for me. then when i know i like someone, i like talking about anything and everything under the sun, and i'm down for a fun debate or playful argument. and i love being called quirky or funny. if we do end up in a relationship, i'm hella committed. like i'm not clingy, and i'm not the jealous type. but whoever i'm with, i only see them. despite aquarius having a rep for being into polyamorous relationships, i'm actually a serial monogamist and commitment is very important to me

I have a Venus in Aquarius, and most of my past relationships ended because my exes were very clingy and I was just too detached. At 3:57 or so you mention that Aquarius is a fixed sign, and I'm glad you did because it's a thing that's often forgotten about this sign. Yes, people whose charts have personal planets in, or heavy emphasis on, Aquarius *can* come across as aloof or a bit odd or subject to unpredictable changes of direction or whatever (depending on other placements, of course), but once we've made friends with someone we're usually with them for a long, long time, often through thick and thin. Hi I’m a Venus in Aquarius- yes everyone of us is different. I do not think we are cold. I just think more misunderstood than anything else. We just want the partner that we choose to relax and stop the negative thinking because we are open and honest individuals. Also, we are not detached, it’s just hard for us to make sense of most situations. We use logic in all areas of our life and if it don’t make sense it’s hard for us to relate. This explains so much about the Aries (with Venus in Aquarius) I was in a relationship with for about 2 years. I'm Sag sun and of course march very much to the beat of my own drum. The good aspects of our relationship were really good, but were sadly outweighed by the fact that our different drumbeats clashed big time, a lot of the time, and he wanted his drumbeat to be much louder than mine. Venus in aquarius in the 10th house. I love being creative, social networks, and mix wisdom with some kind of humour that could have sense, like something reflecting. We are indeed detached, but doesn't mean that we are not the nervous kind : if someone keeps triggering us, we keep it cool, and then, as an air sign ruled by saturn, we shout in a very fatherly manner. Mind is blown again, thought that was funny when i saw the "eccentric" pop up. I believe we are that way because we hate restraints that other people place on us and understand the need for people to be who they are and not follow dogma (un questioned belief ). Because ALL of us are individuals, we are just more aware of it and are the ones who express it 200% of the time. My ideal relationships are "best friendships". If you think of friendship, it is warm, not cold. A true friend is someone you enjoy spending time with, have fun with, able to have an intellectual conversation with and can rely upon when you need help with something. What I don't like (or understand) are the type of guys who decide I should "give up" my other friends or interests and ONLY focus on them exclusively. I understand that may be common in many committed relationships, but I find it scary to "merge" with someone else. In reality, we are two separate individuals. Why do we need to merge as one? I don't want to be some "other half" and lose my sense of self. Ironic for me is I "attract" the "possessive" type of guys. I have learned to avoid the intense Scorpio planet type of guys, unfortunately, my "avoidance" seems to make them want me MORE. My Venus in Aquarius lack of interest or fear often makes me perceived as a "challenge" for many guys. From my point of view, I am "showing" I am NOT interested in a guy, (why won't they leave me alone) yet the persistent type of guys will "turn up the heat" even more, come on even stronger to try to "win me over". For me, this is confusing and my worst nightmare, some guy stalking after me. I have to be careful of who I am too nice to.
