even in friendships tho. i just found out about my venus in Capricorn recently and just so happens to cut out 2 friends in my life for having no respect towards me. i found that they are hella immature, not very ambitious, a little close minded. overall, they are immature and made me show to people another side of me that i felt was so negetive and i hate to show to people. but their immature acts managed to push my buttons and made me explode as if it was a daily routine. that isn't me at all. I'm usually calm and mature. i felt like I've made people see me as the mean girl when actually i was bothered by the wrong people. My best friend has her venus in capricorn (then again she is aquarius with moon in cancer). She is probably just the way you just described it when it comes to this. Before she got together with her girlfriend she couldn't understand people who fell in love over the internet that had never met. She thought it was stupid and weird, but that's how she and her gf met, so she felt kind of stupid for doing something she said she was against. Also she is very obsessed with respect. Spot on. I'm a flighty freedom loving Sag sun, but with Venus in Cap I do take relationships seriously - I wouldn't touch apps like Tinder with a barge pole! My late husband and I married after being in a relationship for only 3 months (I was just 17) - but that relationship developed from what had initially been just friendship. I suspect his Cap sun and my Cap Venus just clicked - we were happily married for 30+ years, with much fun, shared goals and a great sex life. I’m a Venus in Scorpio and my partner for almost 3 years is a Venus in Capricorn. I’m always lack in trust in him as I still, in all these years think he might betray me in some way. He’s an Aquarius sun so he always SEEM so detached and un-emotional in general towards the relationship. This is why "Sun sign astrology" sucks. Before knowing what my Venus, descendant, 7th house, etc. meant, I saw that Aquarians were the most open to casual/open relationships and didn't want a whole lot of investment and attachment in relationships, which is not me at all. But having Venus conjunct my descendant in Capricorn (Cancer rising, of course), it only makes sense I would be looking for something much more long-term in a partner.

Hahaha I have Venus in Capricorn in my 1st house 29 degree with Mars in 23 degree, Saturn 22 degree and AC 21 degree conjuction all in Capricorn. My Neptune 14 degree Capricorn and Uranus in 8 degree Capricorn in my 12th house. I pretty much resonate with everything you said, accept for the power couple thing, I kinda thought about that sometimes. Overall I believe for the most part I'm pretty simple, if I just feel the person I feel for is the one or I can trust them, I can settle with that. Beeing a venus in cap is scary, I'm one and still have no luck on romance. It's kinda sad sometimes.
