You see it as a weakness? I see all these attributes as a strength because we are shown exactly what it is we need to overcome in order to become enlightened. Namely, materialism, vanity, self absorption, etc. Ultimately it doesn't even matter where Venus is or any other planet in one's chart. When one wakes up one transcends the entire chart. Venus in Virgo... very challenging. When people say "you should love yourself first before loving others" I want to scream... My Venus is not only in its fall, Virgo, it's also badly aspected. Looking at myself and what I've done in terms of relationships (I've had none at all), it's kind of like I don't know how to love in the literal sense. I want to love badly (Jupiter in 7th urges me onward), but I fear myself too much to break down the barricades. It feels really pathetic to be this way, for this proud Leo.

Let me tell you, I have both a capricorn and virgo Stellium, and it's a daily struggle to deal with this crushing energy. Spot on. I have always had a very masochistic streak. I used to cut whenever I did something I felt was wrong, usually when I said something I didn't mean or was being the "bitchy" Venus in Virgo, I can definitely agree I can be way too picky with other people but it ultimately stems from my own self-hatred. When this energy is used negatively I feel like there's a desire to make everyone else hate themselves as much as I hate myself. I know that sounds morbid but it's true and there's a lot of guilt associated with that because at the end of the day we really do blame everything on ourselves. It's a very painful placement and I really never believe I am deserving of love. I've had a big problem with anorexia and I'm always comparing my physical body and myself in general to everyone else. I tend to care what other people think about me way too much. People close to me, especially my family members, friends and boyfriends have desperately asked why I hate myself so much and why I always see myself as such a bad person. I've been lucky that I have some good people that understand when I get mean and critical of them that it's meant to come from a good place or it's because I'm feeling that way about myself. There's a tendency to want to push away from people because of the guilt associated with this becuase at my core I truly do want to help people and give love but I haven't learned how to receive it properly yet so it's comes out messed up sometimes when I try to express love. This is a huge cause of pain for me and I'm sure a lot of other people with this placement will agree...it's like having an open wound.

You all have to realize when your placed with challenging energy’s it’s so you can one day help others over come there challenges... you learn to be gentle with your words because you wished that for so long from others and if your a Leo like myself in time all you have to do is lead by example of what ever position you are in.Also, in time you will learn that love is truly unconditional... it’s not ment for us to attach to someone and than fix them ! If someone comes too you for help ( you all know they will ,ha) then you help them don’t go out to change others ... it will drain you . Totes. I am a Libra with Venus in Virgo. I feel the need to be useful in relationships, but struggle sometimes with being very misunderstood and feeling worthless. I have learned to practice being accepting of imperfections in myself and others, and being patient while improvements are happening. I have it and find it hard. I spend my time in a relationship analyzing the other, myself, the relationship and the level of commitment. This video is eye opening. I have venus virgo 4th house that is squaring my moon in scorpio 7th house and growing up was brutal with the feeling of unworthiness, which was exacerbated by the bad relationship that I had with my mother. I starting cutting myself at 12 years old which lead to other self destructive behavior and it became worse with each passing year. Eating disorders, severely destructive relationships, promiscuity, I was trying to find love and acceptance through sex and countless other risky and dangerous behaviors that evolved due to the aspects of this energy, however, as I went through each experience and was able to overcome each of the horrible situations, this aspect also lead to an overwhelming desire to turn around this destructive behavior by performing service to others. In doing this, the energy shifted and instead of self loath, self love became automatic just by giving love and serving others and leaving ego behind. I strongly urge any soul with this placement to either perform some type of humanitarian service and or develop a spiritual practice that will heal you from the inside out. For me it was charity work and I gravitated to the Hindu philosophies. Thank you Mr. Harrison for your insight. This video has truly helped me to understand this energy and I'm more determined than ever to love and accept my TRUE self.

This is seriously the only placement in my chart that makes no sense to me. Even though I can definitely recognize it in the way I love, but when I first started studying my chart, this was the only placement that I was like, uh wut. And this video explains some of the confusion and struggle with this placement. I don't know if other people noticed, but Virgo in general seems to be the most unpopular sign. No one likes their Virgo, whatever the planet you've got in there you'll have a harder time accepting it than anything else in your chart. Most Virgos I know always say they wish they were some other sign. It's like the Virgo side of us is always something we're rejecting and distancing ourselves from. While some other signs are so popular, people being all "I'm a Leo" or Scorpio or whatever HAIRFLIP, etc.

I definitely am hard on myself when it comes to failing at things and I do have quite a big issue with my appearance. I'm not a bitch at all. I pride myself on that. But in a certain relationship I was trying to change him. Of course, to me it was how he could improve on himself because I strive to do that all the time (Mercury and Mars in Scorpio energies methinks). But it wasn't helpful and I have learned from that. Thanks so much, I feel very certain you have been around someone with this energy. And I feel super empathetic for what you have probably gone through with them, it seems reflected in your search for words during the video. Also the realization of how damaging the energy can be is very motivating. It could be partly because of a sense of being an extra person who is unimportant and possibly even self loathing b/c of an unbearable level of care which is self defeating. It can be even more isolating once you've been exploited a few times by others and begin to think you can't trust anyone and must subject them to investigation. But I also feel heard and really respect and enjoy these videos. My Virgo Venus forms a square to my Mars in Sag which is finally turning out to be a good thing b/c I take fun seriously enough to make very detailed plans to observe it without a hitch. I could talk to you about the feeling like a side-lined loser part of Virgo-Sag square but its clear you might be well aware. Also I live in an area where my Uranus and Mars lines run right through. So that's fun. What I'm taking away from this video is the potential root of the extra person stance, and deciding to make clearer rules for help-giving, and the "sell short" remark. It's strange how a self-given back pat can really be covert hostility as in: "oh you got a start, it's cool you can try to do more later, this is way more than you usually do (i e- go ahead and let another day slip through your fingers, it's cool) I'm also thinking it may make it easier to use my imagination to see situations where I think I have holy level type obligations to someone who is really just doing their own thing through another person's eyes who is not directly involved in it. This video is depressing. lol. I'm not being critical but being honest with my feelings. Can anyone else feel it? Is he depressed today or is this topic depressing to him?

i agree that the angle he took was almost suffocated by his own experiences with the energy that it took a negative stance. i still appreciate it but i refrain from watching it too much.

No, I feel his empathy for this placement. I know someone with this placement, and this video really helped me understand his pain on a much deeper level. Virgo is hard to read, with that Pisces axis going on. This placement can be depressing if you let it. But my friend has figured out how to use his, he is Chiron incarnate. Medic in the middle east in 2006-07 then major ptsd, depression and addiction took over until his Saturn return, but even before that he excels at his job as a personal trainer at a crossfit. There are SO many things this Venus placement can do give the world the big hug it needs, and in turn the world hugs back ☺❤ no matter how self sabotaging he became, everyone stuck by him and loved him, it's like he couldn't see his own sunshine, but EVERYONE else does! Xo

This is a lot more positive then the other Venus in virgo. some of them made me feel really broken. but he is giving it to us straight both negative and positive
