I am the Saturn in this synastry aspect and I knew this guy for a long time just as acquaintances, when ever he tried to say hello to me I was very cold to him!!! I didn’t mean to be, I’m just shy with him....He thought I was aloof. Then after many years I came on to him and now we are dating - but I still feel awkward and shy with him, I feel he is more popular than me and I’m a loner... Wow you've described it perfectly. I have this aspect with a guy, my Venus in Sagittarius squares his Saturn in Pisces. I totally feel that nothing I do is enough for him... but maybe he's scared and uncomfortable with my Sagittarius Venus (you know we're really cheerful, open and stuff) and that's why he acts so cold (he also has Venus square Saturn in his natal chart though). Such a shame, we could have been really good friends but I can't change the way I am and my Sag Venus is one of my favorite placements, I deserve someone who appreciate it instead of criticize it.

You nailed it! I have natal Venus, Pluto, and Sun square Saturn and often find myself in relationships that are karmic last long whether it's a good or bad relationship and have either heavy responsibilities or obligations.

I have this aspect with my husband. His Saturn squares my Venus/Mars/Mercury conjunction. Interestingly, his Mars is conjunct my Venus/Mars/Mercury conjunction and and his Saturn squares his own Mars in his chart. Everything he criticizes in me applies just as much to himself. There’s definitely a lot of jealousy involved. Sexual frustration has been the biggest issue with this aspect for me, but that didn’t rear it’s head until years into the relationship.

His Venus in gemini squares my Saturn Pisces. His ease of being able to express himself is actually what attracted me to him. The relationship didn't get very far though because he was trying to have his cake and eat it to. I can't have that with my Venus in Scorpio lol.

I have sort of the same situation. My Pisces Saturn squares his Sag Venus. I gave him a chance but I'm extremely cautious with whom I let into my emotional life due to moon-pluto issues ugh and he didn't take it serious at first so I shut him out. Now he is stalking me and harassing me like crazy but he also has some Venus-pluto issues so he's probably like that a little but still. I was initially attracted to his enthusiasm and interest and now I feel like it's not exclusive so I feel like nothing he says or does has actual worth? Idk how to put it in word exactly but yeah, this is where we're at atm. Also I feel you with the Scorpio Venus comment. I have Taurus Venus so I'm extremely jealous and possessive 💀

Saturn Pisces... you are young! I think Saturn squares to Venus or sun can be good synastry for learning and apprenticeships. Kinda puts a damper on love life for sure. Been on both sides of Venus square Saturn.

I have Venus in Leo in the 6th house and it squares my partners Saturn in Scorpio in his 6th house. He is 15 years older than me, we have a lot of other Saturn and Pluto aspects. Definitely the most hurtful, beautiful, confusing, dramatic, stable relationship I’ve had 😂 I do feel like he is paternal towards me in some way.. and I feel like I’m not good enough in his eyes when it comes to sex and household duties. I know he’s much more experienced and that’s always bothered me, I feel like he’s had much better lovers in the past and I feel like he doesn’t find me attractive sometimes though he says he does.

Yes! But Venus also makes them feel awkward and inadequate . Well depending on what sign there Saturn is in. They want to impress Venus too, but show it in a way that seems they don't . Does that make any sense? Haha

Haha, I see what you mean. It just seems more like mild disinterest to me (I'm Venus in Scorpio, she's Saturn in Aquarius retrograde). Feels similar to a Pluto aspect without the intense emotions.
