My jupiter in pisces is looking at the conjunction. It gives me great peace to not engage in excess sense experience but instead focus on spiritual development.

Yes and also an example of Venus delighted by Saturn, bc both are happening if they are conjunct really, so there is good and bad to it. In your case Venus is stronger by being in own sign, so it is not as bad as if Saturn were stronger and Venus very weak by being in bad dignity or having other tough avasthas on it.

@@triptiarora6722 Yes there is definitely the possibility of either of those things, but I dont want to say too much just based on that one thing in your chart. Because when it comes to a reading or really helping someone we have to factor in all of the avasthas in the chart to do the best job. Everyone is kind of a mix of things you know? But with this one placement, it means that yes there are tough karmic burdens (shani) in love and relationships in this life (venus) but they also can improve over time and by a variety of different therapies. But to say what therapeutic measures would be best isnt easy based on just this placement.

@Eye Of The Veda I am so glad I found this video! Thank you for this profound explanation! Actually I have all these conjunctions, means Venus, Moon, Mars and Saturn are together. Only good thing is that they are in Taurus, in Rohini. But still because it's in 9th house, I lost my father in early age. My mom was very strict and disciplinary with me, it was tough love. First part of my life I had to go through a lot of struggles - mental, financial and relationships. Some sexual violence towards me during my Rahu mahadasha. I had a lot of lessons to learn. It was like living in extreme weather conditions. But now, after 45 years, I feel different. My mind is calm (I guess spiritual practiced helped a lot), my mom is very loving and supportive of me, everything is different now. Does it means that after certain age the planets affect us differently? Or perhaps when those planets see that we learned our lessons, they get satisfied and bless us?

Because Satanists and other messed up people like to take something divine and distort it and twist it into something that represents their own messed up ideology. Hi Eye of Veda what Ayanamsa do you use or do you use Tropical rashis with Vedic Nakshatras like Ernst Wilhelm. Which Ayanamsa is more accurate like Lahiri or Galactic Mula or Raman etc

I think galactic middle of mula is the most scientifically accurate for moving into the more modern ages. Also bc Lahiri himself wanted to change his ayanamsa a bit after he made it. But it is ok for most things that are not extremely specific in the chart. I started with sidereal rashis but back in 2012 I was shown the tropical zodiac and everything just fell into place so well. So for me I use the tropical zodiac and feel it is truly the one that the jyotishis of old used, but to each theri own!

I wanted sidereal to work the best, Ive always been one to want to go with the traditional way, esp with yogic things...but there is a lot of evidence that hindus never used sidereal until around 1500 ad, but its very confusing. You can still do good readings either way, its the reader that is more important in the end.

To be honest its hard to say, that could go either way, would have to look at the chart overall. Sometimes if the Saturn falls on top of the womans chart it can be constrictive, but Venus likes Saturn and is delighted by him too, so its too complex to give a simple answer here in a comment. Would have to assess the whole chart and the different balas, etc.

So Venus can bail out Saturn, which is really important since he is fallen there, though Venus still suffers and takes the starvation hit. Perhaps digestion issues? Eating probiotics regularly can be very good for that placement, if one is having health or digestion issues. Yes for sure, it can get better over time. And this is just one avastha, and to see the big picture we have to see all of the other things too. There could be another planet helping venus in this state that we could also use to find the right therapies and modalities that would help augment Venus. And Saturn related issues get better over time as we exhaust that bad karma related to the thing, but with our intention and by consciously working on ourselves we can expedite that process. And this is where the yogic practices, the ayurvedic practices, all kinds of spiritual practices, therapies, psychological healing modalities, this is where all of that stuff comes into play. All of those are different methods of working with exhausting and dissolving these karmas, and replacing them with better ones. And even if one was not doing any of that, there will still be periods of good and bad that come into play and there could still be great periods for relationships, but then there could be periods where it gets bad again. So there is really a lot of nuance to it, just as there is so much fluctuation and nuance to the average relationship life a person. Does that make sense?

The Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra suggests Durga mantras during the dasa of Sa/Ve, so it may be useful in the same way. Then it also mentions the Rig Veda 10.9.4. for Saturn afflictions and Shukla Yajur Veda 19.75 for Venus afflictions. No, Venus is only starved by Saturn if its in the same sign. Anytime a planet is conjoined with saturn it is starved, even if it sees that planet as a friend. But if Venus is only aspected by Saturn, it is "delighted" or in "muditavastha". See the video I did on Venus delighted by Saturn. And Saturn also gets delighted by Venus when she aspects him, and it is not negative but a positive muditavastha as well. Oh I may not have mentioned it in this one but when it comes to the lajjitaadi avasthas and in general with vedic astrology, a conjunction just means being in the same sign. So if venus is in the same sign as Saturn it is said to be starved... So this is not the type of conjunction of western astrology where the degree of orb matters. It is either on or off. (Of course if it is a very tight conjunction it will be more intense as these planets will be conjunct in more vargas as a result, but for this technique its just if they are in the same sign or not. So for other techniques the degrees can be important.) Also in vedic astrology we use whole sign houses unless otherwise noted like certain techniques that involve the bhava cusps which is kind of like western astrology. So if taurus is the lagna then any planet in scorpio is in the 7th, any planet in libra is in the 6th, does that make sense?

I also have Mars (in Libra) conjunct Pluto (in Scorpio) in the 6th, they are not conjunct to Saturn by degree in Western Astrology. But based on what you’re saying Pluto would be, since it is also in the sign of Scorpio. Would that make it starved by Saturn as well? 😬

Yes thats it! So its like a planet in a house is like a person entering a room. Or a light turning on in a room. If the light is in the corner of the room it is still gonna light up most of the whole room ya know? Thats the general idea. Also in ancient western astrology like the hellenistic and medieval traditions, basically before a lot of the contemporary astrology kind of messed with and embellished things, the original western astrologers also used whole sign houses. So they did it the same way in the old days and many still do. But there is a use for the western style house systems and the campanus one is the best but that is a whole other topic. So to not confuse you I am not saying those have no value but just best to leave the western placidus style of houses being in different signs idea out of this technique. Hope that helps

Yes pluto and saturn would be in the same house but for the lajjitaadi avasthas we dont use outer planets. The outer planets are not visible with the naked eye and so dont rule over or relate to visible people and things in our life. Thats a big topic but just know that there is a logical reason for why the outer planets are not used in this set of avasthas. Avasthas deal with personal and subjective states, which relate to the personal lights in the sky that we can see and that can see us back. The outer planets are not like that and are too far away and too slow moving to make personal avasthas happen, to put it simply.

Yes very good question and I am gonna make another video about how to use this in the vargas. But basically with a conjunction, if it is conjunct in the rashi, then treat it as having that starvation for all Vargas. BUT you will notice that some vargas Venus will be very strong and Saturn not and in those vargas the starvation wont be as noticeable. So you can use the different strengths of Saturn and Venus in each varga to see what areas of life this will really be felt in and what areas you may get more of the delight in. Does that make sense? We do use this in the vargas. And also if it is conjunct in one varga but not conjunct astronomically in the sky, we dont treat that the same way.

@@naminamnam9377 Yes any planets in Libra would be starved by Saturn then, but its not as bad bc its exalted. But saturn wouldnt starve Moon or Mars by aspect or anything other than being in same sign as them.

@@EyeOfTheVeda Yea, Sa, Ma and Moon are in the same sign of Libra. I cried whenever I watch Ernst videos about Saturn conjunctions but my experiences were not as bad as what he’s seen. I guess it’s because I have a benefic moon even when it’s starved and my Me and Su together in the 10th house aspecting it. I started working on myself years ago. The first book I read that helped me was The Four Agreements.

How about Sag ascendant with Venus at 28 and Saturn at 29.27 in 7th? Saturn & Venus are enemies of Jupiter. Does that mean relationships will create enemies? How would you interpret this placement?

Actually Jupiter sees Saturn as a neutral, so as long as Jupiter is not conjunct Saturn it does not harm Jupiter. Saturn is helped by venus in your example, but venus is starved by saturn. They are both delighted by mercury by being in that sign. Saturns dasa will do well for marriage and trade and such since Venus is helping it. Sa/sa, sa/Venus and Saturn mercury will be particularly helpful.

Either way, if you are thinkin of becoming a brahmachari just do it now, it is a good time astrologically for you to make this decision based on the info you gave me. Now is a good time for you to do this. The world is just a dream, there is no happiness to be found outside of yourself. So that is a wise decision to make. It is really the householders that are the real renunciates, they just dont know it!

I can just tell. But think it over for yourself, you can always go back to the world later if you give up or dont like the life. But give it your best shot and give it at least 6 months or so and see how you feel. You may not need to spend your whole life in an ashram but if you just go to an ashram or live a renunciate life for just a short while it might lead you to something greater than if you did nothing.

One uplifting thing to note, I do notice with this placement that relationships work better for these people as they go on and live their life and get more mature but often not after some tough karma being dished out. So it gets better with time and if you are working on it ya know? But Saturn is that planet of tough lessons and so with venus there can be some tough lessons to be learned before one starts to dissolve that karma.

But have always been very lucky and truly blessed in my career, education (multiple degrees) and creative and spiritual gifts. I'm very successful in my career. I was married for 6 years, but he was abusive. Been single now for 4 years, and I'm happy. I've learned to accept, that maybe it s not meant for me (like he said in this video) to have a good relationship without someone being a burden (in some way). If you are coming from a western background you have to know that when we say conjunction in vedic, we are not talking about western conjunctions unless specifically dealing with varshaphala or tajika prashna. So that is not possible in vedic astrology to have venus and saturn conjunct but in different houses, since houses equal signs. Conjunction in the context of the lajjitaadi avasthas is not a conjunction like in western astrology but anytime a planet is in the same sign as that planet. If they are in the same sign they are conjunct, if not, not conjunct. So if your saturn and venus are in the same sign this video applies to you, if not, it does not. I hope that helps!

My Ascendant is Gemini, Sun Scorpio 6th house. Venus in Sag in 6th conjunct Saturn in Sag in 7th. Saturn is conjunct Uranus in 7th too and Uranus is conjunct neptune in 7th 😂 What should i expect? Hahaha

If your ascendant is gemini, sag is your 7th house. Venus in sag is in the 7th, not the 6th. Try to learn vedic astrology without overlaying western astrology ideas, try to just learn it for what it is and then leave out uranus as well and it will start to make more sense ya know? Once you have this system down then integrate it with what you know of western, does that make sense? Check out some more basic videos to make sure you understand the difference between how vedic uses houses and western, as well as conjunctions. In jyotish its sign = house so thats the way to interpret these avasthas. Hope that helps!
