I'm from Africa, born in 86. Growing up, we used to watch a lot of bollywood movies, even though we didn't understand the language (somehow we understood the films). We liked the movies so much that we even bought soundtrack casettes, and we would listen to them alot. I was looking for this song almost my entire adult life, but I couldn't find it. It just kept playing in my head and I didn't know the song title (I was like 7 years old when I listened to it). Funny thing is I only just now remembered two of the names of the movies we used to watch when we were kids (this one and the other one is Ek Ladka Ek Ladki). So my search began from there, until I finally found it literally just minutes ago.

Whenever I hear this song, I remember my time as a young 17 years old MBBS student in sevagram medical College, and how we used to go to wardha town during Saturday and Sunday to watch movies. And, this movie was released when I was in my first MBBS, full of hormones and therefore this song made me kind of stupid and mad. I fell in love with almost 50 percent of my girl classmates, just imagining myself in the role of Akshay Kumar and one of my girl classmate as my heroine, which changed every day 😅😂. I have always liked subtle expressions and acting of Ayesha Jhulka.She showed heroines can act without overacting or doing obscene scenes.Akshay Kumar has tremendously evolved as an actor and is experimenting with various types of well written mature roles.Singing of Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Alka Yagnik is apt for this melody.Visuals of this song are simple but very good.😍😍

Madhuri and Juhi Chawla also surrended to this dirty ecosystem of the Bollywood. And the fresh newcomers from the insiders family like Madhu, Karishma Kapoor, Kajol, Raveena Tandon was getting films without struggling too much. How would Ayesha Julka survived then? And in 1996-97 her carrier was ruined after doing B Grade films like Dalaal. She somehow exist in the industry by doing films with MithunDa.
