As a North Indian, we should have got Prabhu Deva atleast 15 years ago in Hindi Movies. While Pradbhu Deva was dancing at world class level, Hindi actors were running around the trees in the songs :(

I also think the choreography or dance masters for North Indian or Bollywood movies were not very good in the 70s, 80s or even early 90s. I think guys like Mithun, Govinda and one or 2 others, while not as good as Prabhu, were good dancers but had poor dance masters for male actors (Govinda improvised somewhat). I think after this and from the late 90s it got better. However, one good thing back then was that the North Indian actors did dance like their roles or characters suggested, especially Bachan amd some others. It changed afterwards like it was a different character in the song. However, I don't think the audience cares.
