Dear Sir, If you pass IC38 Life Insurance Agent exam, then you are eligible to work for One Life Insurance company (e.g. LIC or SBI-life etc.) + you are also eligible to work for a stand alone Health Insurance company like Star Health or Apollo Health Insurance company. However, if you want to do General (motor non-life) Insurance agency then you have to IC38 General Insurance Agent exam and you can work as General Insurance Agent to a general insurance company like United India Insurance. That means one person can work as Life Insurance agent for LIC of Indi + Health Insurance agent for Star Health Insurance company + General Insurance agent for United India Insurance company.
