@@chrisnowellphotography I have VEO Active 46 but i have also two mirrorles bodies a7 IV and it is small for me now. So i want to buy 53 instead. Are you happy with this bag?

@@maZec31 yes I think it’s fantastic and it’s lasted me very well for over two years now I believe or at least coming on two years

@6:15 - The back of the backpack looks like one big soft cushion. Which worries me that it might not be so comfortable compared to bags that have a more molded back shape. What are your thoughts about the comfort of carrying a lot of weight with this bag? The shoulder + Hop straps look to be ok and supportive..but, that soft back plate.. (just to compare...search for the Manfrotto Flexloader to see it's back panel).....

I can’t compare it to anything else because I have no comparison unfortunately however, the padded section on the back is very thick and definitely not soft I am out sometimes for a full day of Photography, and it is very comfortable on my back, especially with the hip strap as well However, if you are quite small with me being 6 foot three, maybe it might be too big, that’s the only downside I can think

@@chrisnowellphotography Thanx for sharing, Chris. Well? I got the 53. Although there's not too much space to carry non-camera stuff like, say, the NYA-EVO Fjord 60 (of course, it's a bigger bag), this Vanguard definitely has more of that extra room compared to other bags. The hip strap is a joke, and the word about Vanguard's hip straps located too high up - is true! So true that it doesn't support any of the weight onto your waist. I took a osprey hip strap. Modified it. Chopped some things here and there and replaced the flimsy default one. Lowered it a little so my hips could actually support the weight, and it's now better. Also about 6" foot here.

Both excellent bags it just depends on what size do you want for how much care you’re going to put in your bag? I also prefer this one because I’m 6 foot three, and it fits perfectly on my back
