That first one is the Triple Hipster and the second one is the Iconic Hipster. Vera has a few different Hipsters. Mini, Little, Iconic, and Triple Zip.

I came to say the same thing. Vera named these bags so similarly, but they’re quite different! I just picked up a hipster in Happy Snails, and I think it will be beautiful but not very functional.

This video is extremely helpful. I used to have a hipster with the style of your mom’s bag and I was about to buy the triple zip. I didn’t appreciate the difference in dimensions.

I had a couple Vera Bradleys about 5 years ago, and really loved them. Now I am busy with too many loungeflys that hipster is so cute and looks wider than the hipster I had had. (I like purple print better). I think mine was a wider base like your mom's bag.

Honestly, I don't mind what fits inside when they're that pretty! I'd make it work lol Probably by getting Andy to carry stuff for me lol Especially love that you can wash them because I am really good at bashing my bags around and they always end up super mucky lol
