As someone who has used both CFX and Proffie, I think you're going to be fine, especially with how good you are with attention to detail! Proffie is not that daunting. If you can follow steps and directions, you'll be more than okay. No coding involved unless you want to create more features than are already available. BTW, JuanSith's Father and Son is I think one of the most accurate fonts you can get in regards to ROTJ ;) But, I think KSith's LS6 just sounds better overall, even has idealized variants for you to choose I have both the MoM and DaveP, and I have to agree with you. The Hero is the best choice to have an FX hilt because of its design. That's why I prefer static V2s and V3s. I think both of the DaveP Hero and MoM have their Glows though. For example, the fact that I can pick up my MoM and turn it on is awesome. But my DaveP has a vintage LC-785 in it which is really cool to admire. One downside about the DaveP though is that it doesn't come with the machining marks on the pommel CNC'd in like the MoM does. Dave does provide them with his latest run of finished hilts, but they were manually done according to him. They are not included in the DIY kits. The clamp card also lacks the Green Soldermask topcoating that the one on the MoM has. Bryan definitely replicated that so freaking good. I think one big thing you mentioned that I've never thought about was how the grenade on the MoM is anodized while the one on the DaveP is painted, atleast on his latest finished hits.

@@mojavetrooper8547 Thanks man! I'm getting the hang of it, every now and then I just instinctually try to operate it like CFX but I'll get used to it soon enough. I do think I still prefer CFX over proffie 😬. And ya the anodizing kind of bothers me, I'll definitely be stripping that and painting it at some point. The clamp card in my Dave P is actually one of Brian's clamp cards, I got in on that run before the mom released so those are identical, I completely forgot to mention that in the video. The mom really is a great hilt overall though, I'm impressed.
