right before the albums came out, i had the experience of realizing that people are born of love 😭 and i hoped that when i die, even though i make mistakes and i can be judgmental and ignorant and mean, i would still turn back into love when i die. this album has genius sky changed my life, it touches me so deeply and so sincerely and truly, and it means so much to me. it makes me feel hopeful and happy.

i just remember in my college days that actually sparks debate about a story that says the same thing what Mitski is saying. It says like this: there's a woman, and and a military and then the military robbed her belongings including the livestock then killed her loved ones then she ask herself why shes the one who remained alive because the answer was she did not own her life but god. i don't know if its correct but yeah, that,s how the story goes.
