I have learned the aikido verbal from Mr luke in Tunis and i used it in my daily life at workplace and outdoor and it's a very efficient way to have your interior peace.

I've attended one of Luke's verbal aikido workshops and I find the techniques very useful. If I'm getting irritated in a conversation at work if I respond defensively to criticism, it doesn't go well, but if I calm myself and find a positive feeling and a curiosity about why the other person feels that way, I often find the reason they are attacking me is that they're worried that I'm going to do something to them that they don't like, so if I can assure them that we'll find a solution together, the conflict evaporates.

Indeed. They’re both based on empathetic connection. NVC focuses more on expression, VA more on centering and accompanying. Personally I find them very complementary 😊
