I have to inform you about something important regarding a mistake on the PU website! On the website it says that we will get questions from Analogies and Comprehension but in the 2023 PU CSP paper which was leaked, there are no questions of analogies and comprehension. Instead they give MCQs from the chapters and poems of 1st and 2nd year textbooks. This is not correct since comprehension means that they will give us a random paragraph and we will need to find the answers from that given paragraph. I request you to please call PU and clear this up on the matter!

Its actually true... In every test there is no analogy questions or comprehension instead practice preposition there will be 2 to 4 questions from this portion and the poets and writers of the lessons... And there will be questions from idioms so focus on them

@@Noorulain-wc9ku Thank you so much for the confirmation but why does PU put wrong information on their website? They are so careless for that. I do not have the time to read every poem and chapter from 1st and 2nd year. It is their reponsibility to upload the correct information on their website

Just for clarification, the first time the test was conducted, Punjab University violated its own pattern and decided to give MCQs from these specific portions of the English text that you are highlighting. However in later instances of the test, it was confirmed by the university that verbal reasoning will include the four points that they have highlighted (Analogies, Sentence Completion, Synonyms & Antonyms, Comprehension). All later tests were conducted on this policy then. Please do not rely on that one single mistake available on the website to make your academic decisions as it would cost you valuable time.

I gave both PU M test last year and there were no such questions... I don't know about the upcoming test but just revise only names of writers and poets just incase
