Team A said 'you're saying we'll rape a women" this is the prime example of strawman fallacy. It means to refute or misrepresent the given argument. They didn't even mention rape neither were they able to explain themselves properly. The 2nd girl in team A talks like a politician and I am a 100% sure that she's a hypocrite. Secondly a girl wearing a revealing dress will get the same kind of reaction like when a guy will wear any kind of of cloth in front of naked tribal people. We live in a civilized society and we wear clothes so obviously people are gonna look if you wear booty shorts. Males will get attracted to a women. Objectification is when you look at a human being like an object to be used for some purpose and your don't consider how your actions would affect that person both physically and emotionally. Firstly the statement for the debate must be: "Should women dress modestly or not" And I think that there are some points against team A that I will state: 1.If you won't go nude in public, why won't you? cuz you want to obey societal construct of appropriateness right? So when you want to comply with those standards of modesty set up by society why would you violate them in the first place? 2.Men and women are biologically different. Women too watch porn: they comprise 40% of porn viewers but 95% of porn addicts are men. Why? because men are visually stimulated towards sex due to evolution. So it's about a relationship with my one and only ex. so she publically abused me for asking ( some might say forcing )her not to wear one piece at a hindu Mehandi ceremony of my sister i wanted her to wear somewhat traditional or casual rather than going one piece. For example, say she picked a ghagra, and if it's pretty common for a person to wear ghagras where you're from then it's probably okay if she picked it. Most customers of beauty products are women. Women spend 3 times more time selecting a dress, or any kind of body decoration than men. Women decorate their body much more than men. There was some survery conducted in Uk which showed that even though children were not exposed to any kind of toy advertisements, The toys that they chose to play with perfeclty correlated with their gender. This is a great issue but let me explain it simply. Example an actress wearing less clothes for Item song and then saying that men just objectifying us and want to see that then it is wrong because ultimately it was she herself who choose to follow the way based on the men's criteria. So objectification is mutual and if you say that wearing any cloths is a choice than yes it is but then by that logic polygamy and going topless is also a choice, pornography is also a choice. Yes i totally agree that women should wear what they want but what i say that there should be some limits to any choice. Example its my choice to hit a women if she hits me but is it good? Similarly offering seats first to women then is it any discrimination to men? No. Therefore going topless and polygamy or sex bussiness is wrong. Objectification isn't a new thing. It didn't suddenly appear with item songs or short dress. It existed even before they become a thing. Objectification was always present in movies and even in non item songs. It doesn't matter if the actresses wears traditional or short western dress. Somehow the focus will end up on breast, waist, hips from all different angle. Watch 90's and some southern movies and u will see it. It's actually more than the issue of short dress it's about how the lady is presented through camera work and surrounding. Since the whole purpose of a today's item song is just to get cheap views by attracting as much perverts as they can so the makers knowingly make the girls wear short dress then objectifies them using camera and surrounds them with only boys just to ogle at her, sings lyrics that r derogatory. This creates a subconscious mindset in boys that whenever any girl even if by little is exposing her skin ogle at her , that she is like an item girl. Now to understand why objectification is less about short clothes and more about camera focus and presentation of the female through lens watch Wonder Woman (2017) , Birds of Prey (2020), Zack Synder Justice League (watch the clips of Wonder Women and Amazonians) and even some female kpop music video like Twice , BlackPink. U will see even though they r wearing short dress the camera focus is never on breast, hips, waist or captures them in typically objectifying way. It's always stays clean. WW and BOP were both were directed by women meanwhile the kpop videos mostly by men and so does Zack Synder Justice League. So why is that the women directors were able to make a whole 2hr movie without objectifying the actress even though they were wearing short dress through out the movie same with Zack Synder and the directors of kpop mv but here we r miserably failing at it?! Why instead of calling out the men who r controlling everything behind the scene and using shortness of a dress as cheap way to satisfy and justify their immoral ideas and pervertness we blame everything on short dress??!

Example if men say that women only want money then its not correct because you yourself allowed that women in your life. You should have confirmed that is she behind your money or you. So she may not be doing it conciously so let her be as she is. Similarly women should be taught that if men become horny and watch porn there testosterone level will reduce which will ultimately affect the upcoming generations. So wear clothes which are modest and so expressing that your body is not something that anyone can look. Yes when you are at home, at gym, swimming pool, playing tennis or any physical games then here comfort is necessary so wear whatever you want may be skirts, shorts or naked. My personal take on this is If you wear a skimpy outfit to a club and then men come up to you, staring at you, then it's not their fault, because men have been biologically wired to be attracted to the other sex. That's why many industries like the porn industry are thriving. That's why Instagram models are a thing.
