Here in India: - Harkirat (a KZbinr) created a project on Vercel clone, showcasing functionalities like cloning, building, and hosting assets to a specific URL. - Mehul Mohl did some review of his code. - Piyush Gard created a new video with some extra functionality and fixed some scalability issues. - Mehul Mohan did a code review. - And now, this video about scalable architecture, and how edge functions are deployed along with static files, seems like a follow-up to these three videos. React, particularly Javascript has really great community

Hey Lee, awesome insights and videos. Really appreciate your effort in making NextJS as accessible as possible! I've been doing some load testing with self hosted NextJS and found out that having more fetch'es and streams decreases performance of your application in terms of req/s regardless of API response time. It would be really nice to know a bit more details on how it works behind the scenes and what needs to be done to utilize streaming when self hosting, because the developer experience is awesome. I was reading some Vercel docs and found out that basically Vercel functions utilize streaming and can split each streamed server component into a Vercel Function. Is this the magic pill for performance?

My only gripe is that they are way over charging for bandwidth, I mean 40$ for 100gb of bandwidth is kinda crazy, but everything else I think is fairly priced. Sure you could use AWS and get it cheaper, but most people trying to start a SaaS don't really need to worry about that until its needed. Scale later not when you first start because you might have just wasted your time and money.@@rhettmelton
