I’m currently performing Requiem this weekend with my local symphony and I LOVE being an alto in this particular movement lol

@@JemGrrl Most of the movement is so fun. It's mostly that long single note while everyone else gets to to the fun little chromatic bit. Don't get me wrong, it's still one of the coolest and most fun pieces I've ever sung (my first time performing the piece was a few weeks ago, and I sure hope it's not the last), but I sure would love to sing that melody line. I guess I do get to sing the melody in the "Car Symphony" with the "Rush Hour Traffic Orchestra."
