@@EC-dz3fb It's definitely not a slam dunk if the choices are "guilty" or "innocent". But the choices are "guilty beyond a reasonable doubt" or "reasonable doubt of guilt and therefore not guilty". That's a slam-dunk case for anyone who doesn't bow down to the thin blue line. The dog bite/scratch testimony, the evidence of O"Keefe moving around after Read MUST have left the house, the testimony about observed vs. vehicular injury....this SHOULD be a slam-dunk case even for "innocent", but for just "reasonable doubt" I'm not sure how anyone but the most biased pro-cop, pro-prosecution jury could fail to have come to a conclusion of "not guilty" by now.

They are a group of 12 people with probably different views ! They were instructed to go over all evidence and then rule on each charge separately. There’s no way that all 12 are going to be on the same page. They have to put their heads together to come up with a unanimous verdict. We’re just armchair jurors . They are supposed to follow all the rules , not just walk in the deliberation room and say ok “let’s take a vote “ (I’m sure they would like to) I get what you’re saying, it would be nice to get a verdict asap. I had to look at Zillow to see the smaller gate next to the garage because they never showed it to the jury, and they never talked about it. It seemed like an intentional omission to me. If you have a fenced in yard, the most common place to have a gate, if you have only one, is next to the garage. I think that larger gate in the front of their house that was shown in court was probably added later when the pool was put in. The small gate next to their garage looks less than 4 feet wide, so you could not get tree equipment through there, etc. They have more gates in their fence than I have ever seen in one yard. There is at least one other in the back of the property that was referred to in testimony. Look at Zillow. There is one picture that clearly shows the hinges on the little gate next to the garage.

If the verdict slip doesn't have any not guilty guilty options available for subordinate charges then The top of the verdict form needs to include clarification: "Check only one of the following choices" and "We find the defendant NOT GUILTY of the offense charged or any lesser included offense"...... followed by subordinate charges. judge said quote "the foreperson should check the appropriate boxes as to each charge"

Well this just gets worse - when she read out charges then more little bits were added I feel they are trying to get her one way if not another, yes I agree if she was over limit when driving fine but they keep adding bits on - they have just come back in no jury Jackson is furious because she isn’t adding option NG. This will go to appeal and if she does one day of jail time there is going to be a huge law suit. If it’s a hung jury or mistrial will the prosecution risk going again I wonder being a small town if any of the Jurors know the key players- was that why they sat in. I still can’t get my head around Proctor looking for Nudes and his derogatory comments - those who think that’s fine - I wish you would consider how you would feel if this was your daughter- would you be okay then with all these discrepancies???

No SERT report alone is grounds for appeal, no SERT report mean any psychical evidence found on her car is unreliable and therefore should have been excluded / deemed inadmissible in court. Bev is highly questionable for allowing it in and for allowing this case go to trial in the first place.

That's ridiculous. Appeals filed in manners of judicial (judge) error, jury misconduct, discovery violation. Now, had Bev refused defense demand that jury form be amended, *that* would be grounds for appeal. And there most certainly *is* a SERT report; testified to! It was not, however, entered into evidence as per MA law (other states would allow it in) as it contains in part 2nd hand opinion, thus not available to jurors during deliberations; must rely on their notes, recollection of testimony. As every judge instructs jurors, they may believe all of a witness's testimony, some of it, or disregard it completely. Also, defense's first witness, their heraldrd dog bite "expert," Dr. Russell (the one who sought out the defense, so eager to testify!), did not write a report, yet she is the witness defense relied on to prove dog attack. Jury will have to rely on their notes and memories for that testimony as well.

By refusing to provide the redacted report to the jury, the judge is withholding potentially crucial evidence. The fact that the judge refused to redact the hearsay statements and instead excluded the entire report is HIGHLY questionable and STRONG grounds for appeal.
