If you’re referring to how bullets are dropped from the bottom, apparently that was a feature to make tactical relics quicker (albeit less ammo efficient)

Someone might of mentioned it already but Verdun screwed up the Lebel. You did have to snap the bolt back to raise its elevator to actually release the round, its then that cycling the bolt you could actually load a round into the chamber. BF1 somehow did this better. I know. Tiny indie team and budget constraints and all that. But for the WWI shooter that was supposed to be more realistic its a key detail.

I don't think Verdun is better than Tannenberg. These are just different fronts. Western front was more static, so in Verdun all maps are trenches. Also in Verdun we obviously have machineguns and trenchguns, because these weapons were used there in late period of war. Meanwhile eastern front was an maneuver war, so in Tannenberg maps are divided into zones. Also in Tannenberg there are no trenchguns and movable machineguns. Tannenberg also have less types of squads cause there are not only Germans but also Austrians (and Hungarians) and Bulgarians. I played both games, and I don't think any of them are better or worse, they are just different, like a fronts in the Great War.

In game, they do use stripper clips (literally the only exception being the Lebel) As to why in this video it does not, its because this is being recorded in the Attrition gamemode, where you must equip the stripper clip as an attachment. This is done by default in the main Frontlines gamemode, where you cannot customize loadouts. As to why it was not equipped here, I'm not sure why.

The old sounds had waaaaaay too many cases of "off the shelf SFX". I think one of the revolvers had an unfitting reload sound, a sound that Vunsunta did in the mid-2000s for a completely different set of revolver animations for CS 1.6/CZ.

Oh no, you just can't equip mutliple attachments in the gamemode where this was recorded. Also, stripper clips are considered attachments ingame. In the Frontlines gamemode, it will work, as all the loadouts are preset.

Good god the animations are so broken, look at that 1911 and luger and c96 how they open on empty mag only after he started reloading and not when he ran out of ammo. Jeez just wow, some mod makers put more effort in their free to play mods than devs of this game.
