To clarify, I never use powerscaling for my works but it doesn't mean my outcomes are opinion based. I'm studying each character's stats, feats, abilities and etc. I'm also looking very closely at every single detail on how these characters go and how they fall over. Reminder I'm not using wikis to take down notes about their stats and etc I'm clearly watching some clips, gameplays and sometimes browsing scenes from manga, comics or either novels if there's any stats that are not mentioned on-screen.

As someone that is a fan of both touhou and DMC i feel like Youmu would be pretty close to Vergil it's just that Yamato is way too overpowered to begin with, while Roukaken and Hakuroken is more of a sword made to cut spirits and such they are still pretty powerful don't get me wrong If they duel with normal weapons then it'll be more fair though Vergil would probably still have the upper hand due to Devil Trigger and all that while Youmu is just a half phantom that just so happens to be highly skilled using swords

As an extra note reimu being able to lose simply due to danmaku rules that's supposed to make everyone able to beat anyone fairly, because without it her actual ability which is named Fantasy Nature or is basically a cheat that makes her unable to be hit and like quite a lot of people like to describe it, it's the ability to not lose

​@@blux_cross It was mentioned in the "Visions of V" DMC manga that the yamato can counter any sort of immortality, meaning that no matter what kind of immortality does Vergil deal with will not save the character from it. It is not applied in game wise so that's why it's look like a normal katana. Even if you're going to use Vergil's Mirage/Force Edge and Beowulf, yes it will give a slight advantage as these two isn't equal as the yamato but the extreme impact and and projectiles especially the Edge may caught Youmu and the rest of the Touhou off-guard especially Vergil can destroy any sort of weapons not only the yamato but also his 2's (Base on Urizen's striking strenght which is obviously Vergil for the whole time) Another thing is that everyone literally forgot about Vergil's Sin Devil Trigger, most people are canonically focus on normal Devil Trigger and not on SDT. This cause Vergil to be indestructable, same thing to Dante. It is clearly unknown how these 3 sparda boys can die, the cause of their defeat in debates are just possible theories and they were not confirmed by Itsuno. Not saying that Vergil or the rest of DMC solos, it's just like Galactus and Unicron's state. They are pretty overpowered and 100% unkillable due to their extreme reality warping, immortality and the ability of weaponry or ability requirements to kill them completely. Until the time someone manage to counter their immortality causing them to be killed at the end.
