The difference between your Prayer journal (which I think is a good thing!) and the Rosary is that the Rosary was given to a Saint by Mother Mary, it it came along with 15 promises from the Mother of God herself if someone prayed it truly and faithfully. So that is a major difference between The Bless God Prayer Journal and the Rosary. If you read this comment you can look at the 15 promises of the Rosary online. Considering this is a miracle from this Catholic prayer routine maybe you should look into it.

When my mom was loosing her hair as a result of chemotherapy, I went to church and was praying. I looked up at a statue of Mary. I spoke with Mary. I asked her how she would feel if it were her loosing all her hair. And i heard the most beautiful voice. It sounding like chiming bells. And with my eyes fixed on this beautiful statue of Mary, she removed her veil and she was bald. And she answered me.... "I would feel gladness to be able to join my son in his pain". I could never have come up with this myself. Because there is no way in my mind I would have said this as an answer to my own question. It was a revelation. It was amazing. I was 23yrs old. I am 53yrs old now. My mom died when she was 46. When she died, I knew she was going somewhere special. Cant wait to see her again. ❤

The passages in the Bible that you present are referring to two Sacraments of the Catholic Church. The Sacrament of Confession of Sins and the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick ( there are 7 Sacraments). This Sacraments are specific for Healing.

He was told he would have to be on meds the rest of his life, and even with meds, he could barely make it across his livingroom without getting winded. @@theregent3397 Born again has taken on a different meaning for me. I used to think as a doctrinal/cerebral happening. Almost that of sensationalism. I was wrong, because after I experienced it, it was a conversion of the heart towards Jesus. The Holy Spirit entered my soul in fullness, and many miracles and healings occurred in myself and my family following that event. I don't have any large words to explain it, other than to say that I am healed, and religious thinking had nothing to do with it.

The Holy Rosary is Believed to be Given by Jesus through Mother Mary to St. Dominic de Guzman a Priest and a Saint in Catholic Church in 1208. The rosary is a meditation of biblical stories set to the music of the Hail Mary prayer to keep your focus on the biblical story . It’s not praying to Mary. It’s meditation on the Word of God while asking Mother Mary to pray with us and for us because as the scripture says, the prayer of the righteous will be heard so asking Gods most elevated human being made, Mary, to help us pray is powerful. And Tammy was praying a novena to a saint, St. Josemaria, during her week of healing. Not sure why that was left out of this recap. But same concept, she called on a righteous person to help her pray, a saint. Saints and Mary are alive in heaven, God honored Tammys prayers and the prayers of those who prayed for her, including Mother Mary and St. Josemaria prayers for they are righteous. God is the healer, Jesus is the mediator, Mary and the saints in heaven and prayer communities on earth are our cheerleaders and members of Christ body who God recognizes as tools to help one another and pray for one another.

The catholic teaching is they're not dead. That those in heaven are alive. They watch over us, root us on, and can pray for us. They can intercede for us like someone on earth but we'd never ask them to do something only christ can do. Christ is our king of kings, lord of lords. I think just the fact of what has happened in the last few years to the Peterson family and that their lives are now so public all while he has slowly been coming to our Lord is an big blaring trumpet of a sign, message and invitation to all people to come to Him now. Your interpretation of what the Rosary is, is incorrect (and overly simplistic). As you recite the Our Father, the Hail Marys and the Doxology, you are meditating on all the significant events of Jesus' life - from conception to His ascension and assumption of His mother Mary, the co-redemptrix. These events are marked out in the "mysteries": Joyous, Sorrowful, and Glorious. Pope John Paul II added the Luminous (optional) to meditate on Jesus' baptism, his first miracle, proclaiming the kingdom of God, his transfiguration and when he instituted the Eucharist at the last supper. You pray for the grace of each mystery to come into your soul. THIS is what JP's wife received... it's what healed her.

The passage from James is a reference to "Last Rights, exreme Unction" and today called, "The Annointing of the Sick." It is a Catholic Sacrament, that if a gravely ill Catholic or Baptized Christian does understand & accept it ... all their sins will be forgiven, thus their soul will be purified & worthy of Heaven.

Loved those bible verses you included at the end to affirm that prayer's role in healing. My own mother nearly died 2 years ago, and everyone she knew prayed fervently for her (which was a lot of people as she'd spent decades as a devoted Christian). After over a month in the hospital, the last part of it in a coma while intubated, she made a full recovery. Today, you wouldn't even know by looking at her that she had ever come so close to death - she just looks like any healthy woman in her 60s.

Jesus rarely says no to his momma lol that’s why it’s so powerful to ask Mary for her intercession in prayer. Just like he didn’t deny her at the wedding of Cana and did a miracle even when it wasn’t yet his time. As Ruslan read in the passage “the prayer of a righteous person avail much” those who are already in heaven are far more righteous than anyone here on earth why not ask them to pray for us? Especially Mary who is the only creature ever created to have such intimate relationship with the Holy Trinity. She is Daughter of the Father, mother of the Son and spouse of the Holy Spirit. 🤯

The rosary is not a necklace. It is also not necessary to pray the rosary. If you have 10 fingers, that will do. If you can't use your fingers, there is no "strict" rule to say 10 Hail Mary's. The purpose of the repetion is to immerse yourself in meditation of the mysteries of each decade. And there ia no nees to document the miracles if your intentions are granted by God because, in Catholic teaching, praying for an intention is not about "getting" your intensions answered. Prayer in Catholic teaching is because WE need to pray. Not because God needs our prayers. And yes. It is not Mother Mary who cures but God. It is better to understand that in knowing Mother Mary you will learn that she will always point to her Son Jesus. Just respectfully giving an explanation as to why we should pray according to Catholic teachings. People might misinterpret that prayers are used to "force" the hand of God. Nope. Prayer is for our sake, not for God's sake. God bless.
