For those of you who don’t know verivery: Verivery is a 7 member group that debuted on January 9th 2019, under jellyfish entertainment. Their fans are called VERRER. They are all really active on Twitter I do recommend you follow them on their personal twitter @by_verivery. They also do interesting concepts by releasing their own DIY mv with each comeback. Had a pre debut reality show called NOW VERIVERY. 3:51 - when the sign "VERRER" lit up at the door. I find it meaningful in a way that for them, VERRER IS THE ONLY WAY OUT TO HAVE FREEDOM. Starting from 1:09 of the DIY M/V, when Yeonho found the blindfold and worn it, it's as if the members started to become scared as they run away from someone or something. Then suddenly, we see the members getting abducted, being stuck inside an empty warehouse. I think what we can infer from all of this is that, with the FEARS that hold them back, VERIVERY finds LIGHT in VERRER's, to guide them to FREEDOM (or to freely express themselves as the great artists that they are). In other words, because of VERRER, they are not afraid to face anything.

1:30 가 가장 인상에 깊이 남습니다. Connect 에서 Thunder로 이어지는 것도 멋있었지만 connect 가사를 보면 너와 연결된 순간, 내가 네가 되고 네가 내가 됐어 마치 운명처럼이라는 가사가 나오는데 연호가 끈으로 눈을 가리면서 '너와 내가 연결된 순간' 이라는 가사가 끈으로 연결되었다라는 중의적인 표현이 되고 또 화면 전환으로 연호와 동헌이 교차되면서 '너와 네가 연결된다'라는 가사를 잘 표현해주고 있다고 생각합니다. 그동안 베리베리 세계관을 보면서 안대로 눈을 가리기는 하지만 안대로 이어져 있다 라는 이중적인 의미도 될 수 있지 않을까 생각합니다. 중간 안무가 있는 와중에도 무언가로부터 도망치는 장면, 철창에 가로막혀 나오지 못하는 장면. 그리고 1:59 화면전환의 효과도 있지만 중간에 나오는 dread, panic, anxiety이라는 단어가 현재 인물들이 느끼는 감정상태를 표현해주는구나 하는 생각이 들었습니다. 노래의 안무 그리고 베리베리의 잘생김도 충분히 담겨있지만 인물들이 나타내는 감정이 중간 중간 담겨져있고 또 조명도 불안감과 두려움 같은 감정들을 색과 채도로 충분히 보여주고 있어서 더 몰입해서 볼 수 있었습니다. 세계관 해석이 어렵긴하지만 민찬감독님의 조각조각 나누어 편집하신 노고덕분에 100% 체감할 수 있었어요. 역시 결론은 베리베리 최고입니다, 브라보!

1:15 was the most memorable scene of the solo shot of Yeonho picking up the eye cover. It was very quiet and slow so I could feel the suspense building up, making me anticipate a hard and powerful drop. The next few scenes definitely did not disappoint. 1:10 is one of the most memorable scene because of the whispering, the transition with the scene of Dongheon taking off the blindfold, Yongseung and Yeonho running, and Yeonho calling someone having to face what or who has been chasing them, makes me have goosebumps and think quite a lot. The most memorable scene for me was 1:26 when Dongheon took his blind fold off and the camera switched to Yongseung running and Yeonho rushing to call someone on the phone. The quick cuts between different shots and takes made the video dynamic and entertaining. Dongheon's scene was so simple yet shot beautifully and Yongseung's running felt so real like he was actually panicking while being chased. The quickly shown scene of Yeonho also was compositioned nicely and the camera perspective really evoked an anxious feeling. The boys did such an amazing job producing this video and I'm happy with the creative freedom they get to have. ☺️❤️

They changed into the stage outfits when they sang "Deep inside", would it mean that the ones wearing the stage outfits are their "feared self". Before they start dancing those latin words are like signaling the start of the fight between the feared self and them. After the dance which symbolizes the fight, the "feared self" disappeared, meaning they have acknowledged their fear as part of them. With VERRER as the door and their new self that overcame their fear, they will be entering the new world.
