I just switched to Verizon 5g internet and could not be happier. Where I live the local cable company was all we had for internet for years and their service is horrible (always losing service and this is supposed to be top of the line internet) and their prices are almost 3x's what I am paying for Verizon. I was not going to cancel my previous internet for at least a week just to be sure I liked Verizon but I cancelled my old service in less than 24 hours! In the 3 days I have had Verizon I have had none of the issues I have had for the past 10 plus years with my previous service. I highly recommend the 5g by Verizon.

The thing that has me wondering is do you just connect the 5g home internet and it automatically spits out wifi? Or do you have to have it connected to a modem in order to shoot out the wifi???

@@REKONZE41 -With my old provider I had a modem and I needed a router. With Verizon I have one box that I plugged into an outlet and placed by a window as directed. I don't know the ins and outs of how it works. I just know it works better than my last provider and is way cheaper. Good luck and if you are unsure contact Verizon and they will explain it all to you and you have I believe 45 days to return the box and cancel the service. I can tell you that I am very happy with the service.

Rocking out with FiOS Gigabit. Never in my 3 years had I have it go out on me, getting just a little over a gigabit with my own ASUS RT-AX88U router via Ethernet connections, and gotten a few free items just for having it like an Echo Dot and Google Stadia. With Comcast being the other option in my Delaware area, I will never EVER go back to them. They are terrible here.

Fios user as well I can't see any other brand really catching up as long as their prices go down and they offer better speeds I will always be a user, I had Comcast and Armstrong both dropped during peak hours, I just upgraded to their current lowest speed offer 300mbps it comes with an Echo, how do I get that? does it just ship to me or do I have to do something on my end?

Cool, I just signed up yesterday now it's 25 for Verizon home 5g and $35 for Verizon home 5g plus! Those prices are including a discount with the two upper Verzion unlimited mobile plans. I just switch from Google Fiber since they were only giving me 100-120mbps speed. Now I'm getting around 250mbps with Verzion home internet

Nice review of verizon internet plans. About LTE home internet, it is often offered in rural areas where there is no choice other than really slow DSL and satellite, and LTE internet is far better and cost effective then any other options available. I have been using 5-7 Mbps DSL in my rural area home for $100/month, and Verizon LTE home internet is a god send.

I have the Verizon Fios 1Gig home Wifi and I’m having so much trouble with it 😩 It’s so slow and it shuts off during streaming…. Is it just me ? Or is it a difference with the 5G home internet vs the 1Gig home wifi ? 🤔

You are lucky. My new Verizon 4G runs anywhere from 1Mbps to 30Mbps. AT&T 4G which i just ditched, had similar speeds but cost 3 times as much from a reseller.

Verizon Home LTE claims to be unlimited. It is $60 a month or $50 a month if you set up auto pay and have the payment taken from your bank account or a Verizon credit card. I don't think this offer is available on other credit cards. If you have a Verizon phone then there are other deals.

Pretty good packages 📦 DSL is here to stay unless of course you live in the burbs, suburbs (metropolitan area), DSL is the lifeline in RURAL AMERICA 🇺🇸😀😄😉👌 where fiber will never make ever nationwide. Also Consider geographical location. I learned that services and prices vary based on 1) location 2) area income. Regardless of anything rural America will never get the services and the pricing that urban & suburban ( Metropolitan area) Have available in options. EVER! It is what it is. Btw Throughout the segment I was starting to wonder what you were talking about When you mention Verizon FiOS. "FI" like in fiber and "OSE" like in lactose. FI-OSE YYYEEAAHHHH 😁👍

fiber if available, is super reliable for gaming! LTE wireless might not be your best bet, but 5G/Cband wireless might be your best option! I'd test it out for a second before committing fully and ditching spectrum...

Gaming doesn't use much data just streaming an updates...I game almost everyday on a hotspot works fine also stream HBO max an others works great streaming will burn up some data

I have a land-line with dsl. It was great back when. They give no support. They say unlimited. Exceed it and they throttle. I tried tethering to my tablet. It worked, till they caught on and throttled me back to 5M... I'm gonna try the 5G.

Damn I just realized how bad my internet is, I get 12 Mbps down and 1 Mbps upload with at&t DSL on a good day and pay $40... Think I'll switch to Verizon LTE since it's the only thing offered out here...

AT&T Fiber is still a better deal and it's $60-$70 plus they give you HBO Max. Verizon FiOS is not available in the same markets as AT&T Fiber is. But it would be nice if it was.

It’s educational… but you lost creditable with your experience at Verizon “Feios” also it’s impossible to reach anyone at Verizon to find the device you talked about regarding hotspot and internet. They just transfer you for 3 hours. They do not allow you to buy internet online without whom ever you get as a Representative on the phone. Unlimited data is not unlimited data and has very low gigs you can’t anything reasonably priced nor have unlimited data that is practical nor unlimited data & without a contact.. Yes there is one , however, they will not tell you. East of luck oh and $$$
