Here it is three years later and I still am floored by what happened that night! As a member of JEJ, I can honestly say that Shirley Caesar's prophecy is being fulfilled. There is a fresh, new anointing on the choir and even rehearsals have become worship services. Wherever we go, I can sense the power of God coursing through us and that power makes all the difference!

My family and I attended Refreshing Springs in the mid-late 80's. Myrna Summers left for Tennessee as soon as we got there. I'm not a bit surprised that the adult choir was chosen. I agree. The anointing is just as strong in Refreshing Springs on a Sunday Morning as it is on this choir. It's worth a visit or joining. You won't be disappointed. As they said to us back in the day, "Everybody is welcome at the Spiring". God Bless you RS COGIC.
