Great job, man. This really saved my Zenpad. Initially it wasn't successful because I had problems after restarting. No sidebar ..... no way to activate the deactivated system apps. So I tried to re-enable the GOOGLE SERVICES / PLAY STORE before restarting. Wola ....... it's payday man ........! I have already tried different methods but unfortunately no success! But this methode is really successfull. Thank you @Pedro pmj Martin and of course all the other users here for their valuable coments, hints and pointers.

Hi again, really I had to do any modifications. When you restar after of install sidebar , shortcutmaker and frp vnROM, after restart the sidebar don´t work, but you have to continue like normal, the system ask you if you want to add a account, and you answer yes, then the system are going to ask if you want to activate the google service, you say activate, then the settings open, and you can to activate de google services and the google account manager. This video was a life saver! Sidebar disappeared for me after restart so I had to do a hard reset then redo it without restarting tablet. Worked perfectly!

Any work around if Im not getting the clock or three dots to open KZbin from the tutorial? Got it! I left my previous question there for those who run into the same issue :) I factory reset the tablet again (even though it was already locked) and when I got back to the "switch access for Android" tutorial, I push play, & inside the video itself is the word "youtube", I clicked that, & it took me to your next step & now Im fully in!!! You have a fan for life...

I was having the same issue as you were but when i hit the KZbin button it would take me to a page that said KZbin needs and upgrade and only allows you to exit back to the previous page instead of taking me to the browser.. so i factory reset again and got to the same screen quickly and hit the KZbin button on the video and it finally let me through! i was able to continue step by step in the video and it was successful! Cant thank the vid creator and this commenter enough to get me through it! Since i had my own little unique issue i figured i would share as well to hopefully get someone passed the dumb FRP lock!

Well it was working good until I got to the KZbin part... Then it wants to update KZbin which takes you right back to the Google login crap. What is the workaround for this if there is? Awesome video by the way and thank you

everything went as described until the restart. the sidebar doesn't come up after restart. also, when i try to go in the talkback work around the menu has changed and i cant access the you tube clip? zenpad 8.o Z380m. when i get to setup it seems fine but then eventually defaults back to having to use the original account for setup? any sugestions?

actually after looking closer at my tablet I realized it had disconnected from wifi. So I went back to the start up screen and connected to wifi, backed out and was able to repeat the steps in the video. Then before restarting the device I enabled the two services. Hope this helps if you're still having an issue!

An easier solution has been found by browsing through youtube. apex launcher with tecnocare apk downloaded to micro sd aand inserted to the device.. Sorted out the following models P00A,, Z301M, Z300C. all running android 7.0 with security patches July 2018 or earlier. Any patches beyond the 2018 update may not work for some.

lo probe en una asus zenpad y al reiniciar no aparesia el sidebar la restaure denuevo lo volvi a intentar y lo mismo no salia el sidebar la solucion con ese modelo realizar todo los pasos que distes amigo pero antes de reiniciar entrar al sidebar y reactivar el google service y reinicias y listo para este modelo

I tried this method and it worked, up until the battery ran down. After i had recharged the tablet again i returned to the About Switch Access point, where I received a message about an update which requires a login to proceed (which is why I'm trying this method in the first place) and I'm now unable to progress any further.
