No problem at all! My back thanks me too! Lol If you haven’t, you can check out the “progress updates” I did while building it. Sorry no formal instructions. Just 5 “shorts” of the progress and one longer video once complete. One thing note worthy is I didn’t design the plow to pull, mainly to push. And so, when pulling once I bent it and had to bend it back on the job-not fun or easy. In most cases I can just push the debris out of my way and that is god enough but if I have to pull I’m super careful don’t don’t lock it down anymore. I have zero strength issues when pushing, and I don’t actually lock it down for pushing anymore either, typically unnecessary and a waste of time. Im no 252 expert but feel free to share my stuff with anyone with a 252 that would find it useful. I also have a few quick vids on the “mods” that can be done to the 252 to increase its productivity, again no formal instruction, just information. Good luck with your machine!

does that stump grinder fit through a typical neighborhood backyard fence gate, usually 48 inches I think, with those extra tires sticking out?

Can you make a video on the push bar you made

There are several at this point if I understand your request. I made I think 5 progress vids, “shorts”, all under a minute. No formal instruction but short snips of my progress. There’s a video of it done. A couple of it in use. As well as one I made with the material list, and some very basic measurements for a few guys that asked for that. One of those guys compiled them all into an in order playlist or something on a forum about the 252s or a Facebook about 252s I think. I don’t have the link as I don’t publicly do Facebook and it didn’t show up on the 252 upgrade thread on arboristsite. The shorts are numbered in the title for order if you look it up on my videos, and the others say what they are in the title.

Nice job I'm thinking about getting one just wondering how much to charge for a job like this

Thank you. About the pricing, being this was at my landscaper friends new house I did it for free. He gets me a lot of work. With that said this is no more than a 2 or 300 job max depending where you are(no clean up). If I was doing this for him at one of his customers house I’d probably charge him $175-2, “contractors price”. If it was a normal residential customer I probably would have charged $250. My current pricing is based on $5 per inch for no cleanup and $10 per inch if I’m hauling the chips off(or paying my landscaper pal to do so on bigger jobs). This pricing is of the “grind circle”(the actual area I intend to grind), measured root tip to root tip at the longest section-not based on the cut left at the top of the stump.

@@UncleRoots413 Great terminology regarding the "grind circle". It helps to communicate that you are not measuring at the cut.

@@penguinistas I am not. I do not interact a whole lot on Facebook. I know lots have gone to messenger groups and stuff but I just stick my head in a forum or two if I need to.
