Plus, when this " waste" is better cleaned up rather than left to lay around as fuel for wildfires.
@waynemartin68414 жыл бұрын
In Australia now we are having huge bushfires. The concept of fuel on the forest floor has been ignored for years. Now the fires are here there is never a greens party politician in the news because they know their policies are a part of the cause. The media however blames climate change despite 178 arsonists having been arrested and most studies showing 87% of our fires being caused by arsonists or human accidents. As Bob Hawke ( deceased Prime Minister) once said.. there is an imbecile born every minute.

Soils "treated" with wood chips are way less prone to wildfires!! Something that surprise many. ;-) Adding Biomass to the soil, help soak and control outrageous amounts of rain water. So less prone to floods also! Let alone the outstanding soil improvement. With less growth of "weeds" and other benefits! The people that trow them away are nothing short of "nuts"! ;-)

@@waynemartin6841 Hi from US & hope all those arsonists got hard labor, geez:( West here is extremely flammable; my sister lives in Boulder, Colorado mountains; lost a house several years ago but rebuilt. Had a few close ones since; quite scary. Is our summer time ( June-September) your winter? South US always has hurricanes late summer but some people don't want the cold North so..:/
