Ingredients:
200g Vermicelli
2 tbsp Ghee
1 Cinnamon Stick
4 Cardamom pods
Desiccated Coconut
1 tbsp Raisins
750ml Water
100g Sugar
1 tbsp Almonds (Chopped)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions:
1. Lightly grease a square tin and put to one side.
2. In a frying pan, roast the vermicelli
3. In another saucepan, melt the ghee
4. Add the cardamom, cinnamon stick, raisins, almonds and stir
5. When the raisins have swelled up, add the water and bring it to a boil
6. Add the sugar and vanilla extract and stir
7. Add the vermicelli and stir until the water has absorbed.
8. Pour into the greased tin
9. Decorate it with desiccated coconut
10. Place in fridge for a few hours or overnight before serving.
11. Cut in squares and enjoy!
